If you want to have crafting do you just leave the ingredients etc lying around then put in a workbench and let the game mechanics and the player do the rest or is there something else ?

There's a set recipes function somewhere you have to run to initialize the whole thing.

Sounds simple enough and that's always good.. I'll have to investigate.

Thank you.

I thought the recipes function was only for SoZ crafting. I found that if you just have a set workbenches in your mod crafting works just like the OC by default.

I'm going to recommend you look at my SoZ Crafting Plus system which easily adds enhanced SoZ crafting. Then all you need to do is place the recipes where you want them in the game and you can have any stores sell the items either randomly or explicitly. This way you don't have to worry so much about counting gems or body parts or whatever. Just place low level recipes in low level areas and higher level recipes in higher level areas and provide workbenches or the mobile tools if you prefer. It is also easy to make your own recipes without requiring any 2da modifications. You can limit the number of items that can be created by either restricting the required components or making the recipes themselves self-destruct.

And it is fully compatible with the OC and MotB crafting, so you can have all three in place if you like.

I use it in King's Festival+Queen's Harvest if you want to see a working example.

Regards

Shaun the Crazy One.. That's good news thank you.

Kaldor Silverwand.. Thank you for the information and suggestion but I'm just going to stick with a simple system it's only going to be for a few items as it fits in with the way my story is going.
