Yes, my character has not yet shared his gift with Morinth out of respect for Ashley's feelings, but after he dumps her in ME3, Shepard's relationship with Morinth will become far more intimate.

Anyone planning on playing a save that you stayed loyal just so you could tell your ME1 love interest to take a hike? I did. Wondering if anyone else has plans to? I still luv um but part of me still wants to just kick Kaiden/Ash right off the Normandy after ME2.
2) Doesn't that seem a tiny bit petty?
3) Go ahead, if you must.
4) Breaking up with them =/= kicking them off the Normandy.

And with "more intimate" you mean "death". Right?

Though kicking them off the ship is harsh, it may be better in the end to separate a potential emotional landmine there. Especially when both partners are familiar with high-grade weaponry.
Nonetheless, much can change so hold that burning riot list just a little longer, OP. At least hear them out before you let loose on them. The way that situation on Horizon went, I'm betting that Bioware's got an emotional guilt-trip waiting for the player...

"You left me Ash. Turned around and walked away leaving me to Cerberus. The one time I needed you and you walked away. You left me to deal with the collectors, with Cerberus alone and yes I triumphed. And I didn't need you. And at this point I don't want you."
Eon dumped Liara during LOTSB "You handed me over to Cerberus. CERBERUS! You know what they did to me!" so that's one problem solved.

I can assure you, I didn't go through all that just to suddenly and out of nowhere yell 'you're dumped' to Ashley. Especially not when (from the leaked script) hers is actually quite a well done and moving romance plot.

If she injects you with her ardat-yakshi venom first, it means Shepard will be the proud papa of an ardat-yakshi baby. Shepard has to be an ardat-yakshi too, or else the baby won't be and she'll miscarry.Arbitorius wrote...

I don't think that's how it works.

I know it sounds weird but around the start of the third trimester, fetal asari subconciously try to make telepathic contact with anything in reah. If she became pregnant with a non-ardat-yakshi baby, it would merge its mind with hers and get its brain fried.Ravensword wrote...

I learned this from the leaked ME3 script. You see, ardat-yakshi disease is a lot like Familial Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. A genetic mutation common to some asari will cause a specific protein in their brain cells to develop improperly, some of them breaking away to form prions. However, unlike the protein affected by Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, this protein is necessary for safely merging minds, not for structure. So although it inhibits the sufferer's ability to properly form telepathic bonds, it does not cause mental dystrophy. While the allele necessary to form this prion is absent from the human gene pool, a direct injection of the agent into human brain tissue should have the same effect, making the human immune to dying from this union. That is how a human being or an Asari who was not born an ardat-yakshi can become one.
On a side note, some primitive Asari cultures that worshipped ardat-yakshi have been known to perform ritualistic cannibalism in order to succeed their departed goddess-chieves.
