I know its impossible to make a complete analysis of it all, but I seem to see a lot of love for Garrus, Tali, and Liara probably because they appeared as squad members in both games, what do you think? I think Garrus is probably the general fan favorite, just because most people seem to be neutral at worst to him.
Thoughts?

I would probably agree that Garrus would likely be number one if you'd take a poll.
Of course everyone has their own favourites. Mine would, in general, be Tali. Mordin would probably be second.

Statistic wise,Bioware said Garrus was the most popular ME2 squadmate.Wrex is mine.

 Poor Kaiden, I might actually kill off Ashley, but thats wasting a week of my time of another rushed Casual run.

There's a lot of undeserved Kaidan hate. 
Personally I prefer him over Ashley. Not thatI find either particularely interesting.

Yeah I think Jacob may of actually beat him for last. But I do remember even Mornith beat both of them hah.

Garrus and Tali seem be fan favorites. Liara and Miranda seem to be quite popular to.
My personal favorites would have to be Kasumi, Liara, Samara, and Grunt.

If only Wrex would have joined me in ME2...I'd be sporting Wrex and Legion. Greatest combination ever, I know.

It's hard for me to pick a second squadmate because all my favorites are Tech-based. Mordin, Garrus, Tali, Legion. I'm a biotic user and have that area covered. I usually go for Grunt so I can pretend he's Wrex.

Depends on whether you mean more universally liked, or with more passionate fans. Most people like Wrex, Legion and Mordin, but I never see people adoring them in quite way as Garrus, Tali, Liara, etc.

No troll, but may I candidly ask what is so appealing about Garrus? I like him, but I like him in much the same way I like Jacob. Tali, I can understand, cuteness and vulnerabilities and all that hock, but Garrus?

Character-wise or useful wise?

The most popular companions were Wrex, Garrus, and Tali. Thane and Mordin tend to get a lot of love as well.

Most used Companions?

Miranda and Garrus.

Not sure about the most popular, but the least hated is Mordin.

Ya Jacob is a terrible character imo, I'm a knight in shiny armor, check out my pecks brah.

As for the Garrus love, I'd wager its because hes been with you since near the beginning, he is a Turian, has a sense of humor, and he plays to all sorts of personalities, hes the justice at any cost kind of person (viligante), the grudge holder, the person trying to find purpose, a calibrations expert (hardworker), and a loyal friend (no bull**** about not helping, shepard you need my help, sure lets just F up some thugs we would have had to do anyway and I'm with you).

I imagine you're right there. All the ones I can think of who are generally popular aren't LIs, while all the ones who have a huge fan following are LIs. With the exception of poor old Jacob.

Well Mordin is a great character, just because he isn't a LI doesn't really ruin his fan-dom but fair point. I think its more that he is ME2 not an original ME1 character, where they have been established and what have you.

And yes I agree Jacob sucks... a lot.
