Tara Strong as female Shepard.

I like the idea of Liam Neeson. He has a cool and very recognizable voice and is very synonymous with being a mentor & leader. It's hard to see/think if his voice (and any other actor's voice) would fit the look of Shepard though.

I'm fine with Mark Meer, but as prolific a career as Jennifer Hale may have as a successful voice actress.I think her FemShep voice is lousy  to often she sounds, subduded or lethargic and monotoned... One of the main reasons why I barely ever play as FemShep; is because I can't stand the sound of her voice.  She sounds like a vampire just sucked her blood or something.Its as though she is about 3 seconds from slurring her words.

If FemShep voice was that of Lieutenant Ashley Williams (Kimberly Brooks)  than I would have far more than one Mass Effect 2 complete Playthrough as Female Commander Shepard.

I can't imagine any other voice for femShep but Jennifer Hale. I can't play as a female soldier in TOR because that voice is Shepard to me. XD

As for manShep... I like the idea of Liam Neeson, but I don't know how well it would fit. As much as I love his voice, I don't think it'd go well.

As for my choices 
Male shep : Cary Grant,  Gregory Peck or Sean Connery (yeah I like his acent yes half my family is scotish ) 

Female shep : Elizabeth Taylor watch Taming of the Screw she could certainly have played the part. Or Audry Hepburn

Ok I admit I have a rather extensive collection of old films 
Having said that I think both VO's do a great job (though PERSONALY I do find fem shep grating and over acts for MY taste)
