I'm just going to get straight to the point without wasting you guy's time.
*A blend between the fast-pace action of DA3 and Tactical gameplay of Origins.
*Stronger Moral choices
*Less 'choir' sub quests. IMO Hawke didn't feel like a champ. Seems more like a friendly neighbour willing to help you with things.
*More significant side-effects based on Moral Choices. The side effect in Origins was fine. The ones in DA2 were either weak or lacking.
*Keep the skill leveling the same as Origins. I hated the complex upgrade system in DA2.
*Qunari Mage companion. It'll just be pure awesomeness.

- no more old mechanic of tank, dps, nuker and min maxing attributes. It is so boring
- no more numerous but wasted talents.
- no more bugs and glitches
- no more cliche
- no more difficulty set up some place harder than other places. Difficulty of the game level with PC in anywhere.
- no more PC voice
- no more steroid bosses.
- no more boring sub quests
- want cool armors, gears and weapons design. Current design is so ugly
- want cool armors, gears and weapons bonuses. Current bonuses sometimes out of place and lacking to make them special
- want new races other than dwarf and elves. Qunari is fine, but maybe more?
- want better economy. Current economy is broken
- want more party members that we can bring into combat or at anytime. Maybe it is determined by attribute? Leadership attribute for example determined how many party member we can bring into action while the rest stay at camp.
- want The Sim like NPCs. They move, walking, doing things and not just standing static all the time. Give much realism there.
- want mini games :)
- want a better item carrying system. Sure we cannot carry too many armors and weapons while travelling, it is unreal. Maybe limit the items we can carry all the time but provide party chest that we can store loads of things there.
- Want a better potion system. No need for potion tier, It just waste of space. Lesser tier will become wasted when higher tier is accessible. Attribute modifier for potion modifier is just fine.
- want spear fighter and musketeer
- ......

i really want a side quest where wynne is dying and her final wish is to see all of the party members (including the warden) from origins one more time so the player must find them all throughout Thedas and bring them to see her.

I wish I can have the DA:O protagonist as the main character once again, with DA2's Hawke as a companion - with their stats imported and retained. I haven't finished both games by the way, so I'd assume both protagonists survived.

I wish there'd be a crossover or easter egg with other Bioware games, preferrably Jade Empire or Baldur's Gate. Hopefully it won't go over its head and become too cheesy or corny.

I wish to see a character similar in some ways as Duncan. A shame we'd no longer have the opportunity to play AS HIM or at the very least, WITH HIM.

I don't know if you read the last book by David Gaider, but what your asking for is kind of impossible now.

I would like some aspect of my Warden's return; catching up with what's happen, taking part in a quest, having some decision in the plotline of Thedas' world, to feel the full power of my Warden again. Then we can go back to the new protagonist's story.

I actually want to be able to import my warden to start another adventure, perhaps a final one.

The reason is that i felt that in the of DAO where he survived and later traveled to amaranthine, amgarak and later the events of WH.

But in the ending of WH when you watch mirrogan walk through the eluvian and then you take the book and walk away, it was a very poorly finish on the wardens story and i felt afterwards,
and before the DA2:

"Finally it will be another adventure with the warden"

Nice idea on the races. I like the idea of the Warden Demi Child being an option and the female Qunari. I want a lot of options as far as customizing and that includes armor and weapons. I don't always like how you have to have a matching set. Where is the fun in that?

I want bioware to take a hard look at the watcher 2 and take everything great about that game and mix it with elements that make bioware games feel like bioware games, aka anything before da:o...

My wishlist for DA3 consists of only 1 item:

That it is aimed at those of us who loved Origins, not at as wide a target audience as possible.

But I know it won't happen.

And a Saarebas companion, that would be cool.

- Keep the combat from Dragon Age 2 or improve it more because it was one of the best aspects of the game
- Have the choices make visual changes on the world around us.
- Greater Exploration
- We have experienced the theme of rising to power in DA2, now put us in a position where we have power like in awakening but with a vast array of options!
- Stop making DLC where we have to buy a companion, just have them all in it from the start!
- Keep all romanceable characters Bi cause if there is a sexy character and you cant romance him or her as the same sex then that would be really annoying!!!
- More side stuff that also gives some form of result that we can visually see.
- Don't copy and paste dungeons and caves with the same layout.
- More stuff to do other than just quests.

-I hope they keep the fighting style from DA:2 that being said I hope that is the only thing they keep from DA:2.

-Our choices should change the out come and path the game.. DA 2 didn't have that, something always brought you back to centre nothing you did changed the game.

- I didn't mind the "mass effect" style wheel..

-The story bugged me, the whole thing with the mages and the templars was painful, and it vould have been handled a lot better.

-The characters could have been better..Varric was great, but Anders oh jees what did they do to you? it is odd the things DA: 2 got right were not as important as the things they got wrong.. the story and the characters are the main reason most play dragon age.. and both were not good
enough.

Then there is the recycled environments they are annoying...

Basically everything DA 2 got wrong, DA 3 should get right..

*Same combat-style as DA2.
*More interactions with companions that can take place anywhere, not just at their houses or your house or whatever. I very much prefer the style of DA:O to DA2.
*Diversity in all things: maps, characters, backgrounds, choices, et cetera.
*I would really like to have our Warden featured somewhat. Mainly because I personally feel like our Warden is really ours, whereas there's canon Hawkes and I feel they aren't as customizable or as close to my heart as my Warden.
*I hope it's not too open world like Skyrim. I find that quality is sacrificed in Skyrim because it's so expansive. Their characters are bland and all that I really admire about the game is the beautiful scenery. I want Dragon Age 3 to be much more than "ZOMG LOOK HOW BIG WE ARE! YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING!!!" That's all well and fine, but not if there's no soul to the game or real reason behind it.
*A storage chest at your camp/base/home for all your extra stuff you don't want to carry around. I keep things out of sentimentality because of reasons.
*I would like to continue the theme of family dynamics. Specifically, I think it would be awesome if your character had the opportunity to create their own family and see how their actions affect them. Spouses, children, in-laws, whatever... I like personal connections with my characters.
*Bring the party members back from Origins and Awakening (those who survived) SO I CAN LOOOOOVE THEMMMMMM. But seriously, I'd like to see more companion cameos if not actual companionships. This is kind of the same with characters from Origins too -- sometimes I want to talk to Fergus or see how Connor's doing, or wonder what ever happened with Oghren and Felsi and Mini!Oghren.
*Closure to the story, depending on whether or not this will be the final Dragon Age game. I hope it isn't, but I don't want to be left scratching my head at the game or asking, "Really?"
*Cohesion to previously established canon would be excellent. I'd rather see the changes that a character goes through -- For example, Anders. In DA:A he was all, "LOL! CATS" and then in DA2 he was this noble and tortured soul. I would have liked to see exactly how that happened without the excuse of "Justice did it!"
*More Sandal and Bodahn and Mabaris. Yes. Moar.

*Most of all, I don't care how long the game takes, as long as it's not rushed. I think DA2 was a prime example of a rushed game. It was good, but not as good as DA:O in my opinion. The storyline seemed choppy and the last act seemed a bit rushed. I really love Dragon Age and am willing to wait for years for DA3 if it's as good or even better than Origins.

I am likely in the minority when it come to this, but I hope DA 3 will be a completly off line game. I have nothing against on-line gaming, but the thing that draw me in to origins was it's off-line gameplay and I would prefer for things to remain that way.

I want to be able to create my character again, you know choose from several different races again (Elves ftw!) just like in origins. I liked the combat in DA2 but I also loved the combat in DAO. I just want DA3 to be more like origins. In fact I hope they do add origins to play through again (here’s hoping for the Dalish Mage!) i just want to feel like it’s my character again not Hawke. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed DA2 I just could not care less about Hawke the only party member in my opinion that had any depth was Anders unfortunately DA2's story was overall forgettable.

In short give me an in-depth story + make me care about my characters again. over all make an experience closer to Dragon Age: Origins, because that is one of my all time favorite fantasy RPGs.

i'll make it simple

More like origins, start development from there, paste over DA2 combat, then get to work and make what dragon age 2 should have been. Bring back some good faces (i miss my drunken dwarf ogrhen) and focus on the charcxters again, and make the darkspawn the main enemy & do it during another blight or something, just nothing like da2 story, god did that game crush my love for you bioware

I created a video with the topic of this forum threat.
Keep in mind that the video contains SPOILERS!
www.youtube.com/watch

P.S. I hope this will not be viewed as spaming etc. If so inform me I will delete the post myself. From March and the change of rules on forums I'm a little paranoid.

I would like to see something like in Fallout 3 where we have a large open world with less linearity. I'd then also like to see the ability to play beyond the story end-we have a character we made and used, a big open world, we finished the story, let's now just be allowed to roam free.
Along with an open world, I'd like to see a large world map. Just Cause 2 was overly large, but a sizeable map with plenty to see and plenty to do. If I decide not to continue the story for a while, I want to run around exploring and killing monsters I randomly run into.

My wishlist for Dragon Age 3 is pretty simple:

Take your time, don't rush development, and make another great role-playing game in the spirit of Dragon Age: Origins.

Of course with EA holding the reigns, it's almost a certainty we'll get the exact opposite.

My wish is pretty simple: Make it like Dragon Age: Origins, not Mass Effect.

Bring back race options, bring back origins, allow greater characterization than "nice," "snarky" and "mean," explore other aspects of the world besides human nobles and mages and templars, make the world look and feel more like fantasy Medieval Europe, make the combat more like medieval fighting and not like fast, loud, obnoxious, explosive, rapid-fire sci-fi gun-fights disguised very poorly as swords, arrows and magic. (It kills suspension of disbelief.)

If wishes were poppies, we'd all be dreaming, right?

Wishlist:

1) Toolset
Bottom line. Absolute must.

2) Interaction with companions. Should be the same style from BG to NWN to Kotor to DAO. At least use ME1/2 style in which you can interact anytime but only on the Normandy. Not the DA2/ME3/TOR crap with minimal interaction. Remember, flirt mods for BG2 and NWN2 were highly requested.

3) Race option. This is fantasy and we want to play as other races.

4) Characters:
-No out of place characters put there just to attract fans of other games. I mean Fenris's story was okay but he's final fantasy character who is very out of place in the DA world. Yes, that includes Felicia Day and Jessica Chobot.
-If you must include a minor character from previous game, do it right. Minor characters have narrow dimensions in the previous games when they are minor. When they become major characters in a new game, they absolutely need new personality dimensions.

- want the story to be even more in depth than the other 2 games
- want the romance to be more in depth..maybe more cinematic scenes and more conversations (+ more bi characters to romance)
- want to keep the combat from DA2..or maybe get the possibility for the same 3rd person view as ME3
- want my choices to actually make a difference

but basically..more in depth story ..both quests and romance..
