to make it quick,

I want it to be a real Sequel to Dragon Age origins.

- again more romance, more cinematic scenes about the romance
- I want Leliana back
- maybe also the possibility to marry (same sex, and also hetero)
- great Armors and weapons

- like Uncleansed said, more like Origins, less DA2

thx

post game play.

where i can go and see the affects of...whatever the climax may entail. And even have some convo.'s w/NPC's about everything. Nothing massive really, just a good wind down.

edit: well, that's assuming my PC..survives....:?

Hey, I'm a new user to this site but I've been a fan of all the games that Bioware has created over the years and Dragon Age definatly has me hooked. Hopefully Bioware sees this post and take it into consideration:

Now the creaters of Dragon Age has stated that Loghain was one of their fav characters to work with. I mean even though most of us probably killed the guy, he was a badass character. Now we all know if we kept Loghain alive, he makes a cameo in Awakenings but sadly we cant have him as a companion like we did in the first game. Then it turns out he got sent to Orlais. Now if its true that Dragon Age 3 takes place in Orlais, how many of you on here would like to have an option where we can have him as a FULL TIME companion in the very beginning of the game??? I mean just imagine all the dialogue and interaction Loghain would have in Orlias given his history with the orleasians. I believe this is a good way to reward the TRUE fans of the series, atleast for those who like Loghain :) so this is my wishlist for Dragon Age 3:

-Option to have Loghain as a full time companion if we kept him alive in Origins
-A baby dragon as a companion that can attack enemies (to replace the dog but have the dog as a option as well)
-Cameos or atleast some interaction with our original Warden
-Bring back Morrigan!!!!!
-Make the exploration similar to Skyrim
-The sex scenes should be more realistic and have relationships with many people
-Make Dragon Age 3 story focused. If it has to be single player then so be it.

Skyrim's exploration is open world style, which isn't bad. However, the lack of consquences of the main PCs choices is a major gripe of mine.

#1 - No "DRM", just sensible copy protection.  Recognize DRM only punishes the paying customer.

#2 - A linux port. Not all of your player base use that bloated crapware produced by Redmond and Cupertino.

#3 - Story, story, story.  A modern day equivalent of what the Baldur's Gate series gave us when those games were released.  There's a reason that modding community is still vibrant even today.  Give us with DA3 the type of innovation you gave us with the Baldur's Gate series.

#4 - Let the current modding community for DA:O, and maybe even DA2, guide you on what's important to the players.  Include that type of content and themes in the game to begin with.

#5 - Toolset at launch.  Those wonderful folks with the talent and drive to create additional content and enhancements to the game should have the tools to do so.

Guarantee #1-4 and I pre-order, #5 is icing on the cake.  Lack of #1 and it's a GOG, if ever, title.

 1. Companions change based on approval and dissaproval of player. (Like Morrigan not being so heartless after becoming friends)

2. No more companions being complainers and whining about being oppressed (DA II Anders)

3. Travel the map to all area's when you beat the game.

4. Better story

5. I don't want to be trapped inside of one city for more than a year. (DA II sucked because of this)

5. Story should not be a decade long in character time. (1-3 years is fine)

6. No Auto Attack, slowed down attack animations (Faster than Origins but slower than DA II's attacks)

7. No jumping half way across the battle field (This was annoying in Dragonage)

8. No combo attacks while using default attack. (Doing the 1 hit, 2 hit, then the third hit as a heay attack was annoying.

9. Attacks should be fluid and smoother without losing momentum in battle. (DAII had this problem with the power attack after the first two default hits)

10. Characters calling you by your class, or last name. (For example Templar, Reaver, Blood Mage. For Example: Aeducan, Cousland, Amell)

11. NPC's react depending on your class and specializations. (For example if you are a blood mage, random Templars will try to ambush you) (If you're a templar mages will distrust you)

12. If you are a mage Templars will be difficult to persuade or intimidate, and vide-versa.

13.Day and Night cycle (one of the few things I liked about DA: II. And able to grind for Experience and gold)

14. Able to buy housing

15. Talking to companions whenever you want.

16. Origins- Human, Elf, Dwarf each class has two stories except for mage, which has only one.

17. More dialogue options and characters say what we want them to say form the choice. No implied crap.

18. We should only have DLC if it contains a new area with new characters and more companions and story.

19. NO Day One DLC!

20. Able to choose a side between Mage, Templar, or MAKE your own army to defeat both of them and for them to make peace.

21. We need a new sarcastic best friend of the main character. (Like Alistair, and Anders. Should have a name beggining with the letter "A" just so we have a three peat.

22. No more cameos unless it is from the Warden, Hakwe, Leliana, Varric, Felemeth, and/or Morrigan.

- I would love to see what happened if you accepted Morrigan's ritual.
- More role playing.
- A unique beginning of the game for each race and origin, as in DA:O.
- The camp should come back!
- Be able to speak with different characters whenever you want to. /or when they wanna talk with you.
- A storyline that is like Origins, not that I want the similair things to happen, more that you have to solve one problem to solve another. Example you need Arl Eamon at the Lands meet, to get to him you choose to help or not to helt the Redcliff village, then when you finally get to Eamon he is sick, and Conor is possesed. You choose either to go to the Circle and get help or let Jowan help out etcetc.

Also, less things from Mass Effect in Dragon Age.

Edit: I actually loved that you were able to stash things at your mansion, in DA II so I hope that comes back.

- Main Character is talking (but you get to choose what kind of voice, like in Origins)
- No auto-attacks ( I find it boring to watch my 2h guy hits so slow when attacking, DA 2 combat)
- Interactions with companions as well as some street people.
- Involve more of the game's Lore in the game itself. ( I need more than just Darkspawn and blood mages. More answers about elven history and all that)
- All previous companions must be present (unless some of them died)
- New companions ( all have different personalities - funny, serious, cynical, etc.)

Here comes the most important parts (for me anyway)

- Give the bad choices more rewards.
What I mean by that is that give the players who choose the practical but unpleasant choices something that would change the gameplay, not too much change (like a weapon or armor or a special skill, not just friendship/rivalry because that can be countered by gifts), just enough to make players choose that path. Because honestly, most choices from the previous games were "be the good guy and everyone loves you, or do this and be a jerk"

I want to contemplate on my choices, I want to feel like "oh I think i should do this but i don't want to kill them... but there's a weapon/armor/skill/magic in it for me... a powerful jerk, or a saintly weakling?"
The only choice I had to think about for more than 2 mins was to use the Anvil or Destroy it.

- Make the ending happy, but in a serious way. What I mean by that is that some of your companions die (if it's REALLY necessary) or they turn on you (like how it was their plan all along to betray you). The world is devastated by *put main conflict here* , but you survived and you live happily ever after with your love interest. I honestly don't want to see any dying from any of the main characters.

- The plot has to be like DA 2 in a sense that it continually evolves. It must be executed perfectly like DA origins. The DAO origins plot was really plain, by the time i got to my second treaty i was like "Wait, let me guess, you won't help me unless i do something for you first, like kill this guy or get this for me, even though there's a blight that could possibly consume the entire world"
But, the game ended with a dramatic cliffhanger (Morrigan) and a perfect ending.

No plots that are too simple like gathering forces/materials, or building a weapon, or talking to every ruler of some part of Thedas. I believe it should be more mysterious and less predictable - "what happens next?" Make the players guess/think. It's a lovely sight when players discuss theories and what not in forums.

- Character appearances: not too cartoony, not too sexy, just sexy (D cups haha, jk... but not really), and appealing to the eyes.
- No recycling of places
- If the game is set in a city, i want the buildings to have more variety in terms of appearance. No gray buildings all over the place. Equal amounts of land, buildings, and water.

- high replay value
- I want to get out of the camp AFTER the main story. I want to roam around wherever the game is set in and do unfinished side quests, find more codex pages, and explore caves that have monsters respawning every 1 in-game day. I don't want to pretend that the story hasn't ended yet, and be "placed in a time before the end battle"

- NO MULTIPLAYER , focus on SINGLEPLAYER. All the time/resources that are available should be given to the story. Not that I'm telling you guys what to do, but a great singleplayer experience comes from hardwork, and I believe Bioware can go above and beyond on that part.

- Lastly, take your time making the game. A LOT of fans are waiting here to buy it. I want to stand up clapping after I finish the game because it's amazing like that. I've done it before on other games, I want to do it for DA3

Edit: harder AI but more people in parties (party of 5 people including myself). Also day and night time (optional)

Horses?;)

For I would find quite shocking to see orlesian chevaliers (if it's true that DA3 will take place partly in Orlais) lauching "mounted" charges at their enemies the Monty Python and the Holy Grail's way... (With some elven servants hidden in the nearby bushes hurting empty Par Vollen's coconuts to sound like a horse's gallop...:crying:)
(Assuming of course that the orlesian etymology for the word "chevalier" may be related, as is the french one, to the word "cheval", which means horse.)

Seriously, I know it's not a new topic for Bioware (and I have read the tombstone in Haven under which were buried hopes for cloaks and horses...) but, when I see how great the Mabari are and all the ram, leap, knockdown, overwhelm animations work so well in DA:O, and when I consider how much horses are related to the very spirit of Fantasy (no less than to the spirit of a western movie) I feel it would be huge to have the opportunity to play mounted characters, to control independantly the horses (like the Mabari) and to get a whole new set of special actions and quests related to riding and fighting with horses.

Spears? I want the pokey sticks as a 1h weapon. How am I supposed to assert my dominance over enemies of high caliber, if I can't poke them with a bladed stick. But seriously. Pointed sticks people!

Also I didn't like how in DA2 the dungeons were all abandoned mines. That was not fun.

I think PainS said everything else. He/She knows what they are talking about.

I used to sell all types of video games and consoles on Ebay. Everything from vintage nintendo cartridge systems to the latest playstation 3 games. Needless to say I have played alot of videogames, but my all time favorite has to be Dragon Age Origins. It combines all successful elements of what I look for in a game. (For the time the combat system was good). It had a STORY. Yes what good is a series of meanless slashing that in the end means nothing. If you don't care about the characters and you don't care about the story you could play any number of game out there.
