Does anyone know where i can find the imperial edge (silverite longsword)? I have looked everywhere and cannot find it. Or was this one of the weapons tht was cut from the game (such as king maric's blade)?

No idea. I heard some people found it though, must be a rare drop from a certain enemy.

I vaguely remember I picked it up when I was in Denerim in the Alienage after I rescued the elves from the slavers.

I've found it every time I played through the Alienage. It drops inside the first building I think. It's not even the best long sword though. It does look cool though.

It's dropped by the slaver boss if you fight him at the end of the Alienage quest.

Most of the alienage slavers can drop it. I had about 3-4 of em after the complete alienage runthrough.

I think your mistaking the Imperial Edge with the Saw Sword, which look alike but the Edge is much much better

There is definitely a chance to get more than one imperial edge -- i got one from supervisor in the quarantine building and one from the first boss in the warehouse part of the alienage quest. Or maybe it was some random guy in warehouse and the boss dropped just the bow, can't remember.

Regular slavers can drop the Saw Swords as well, but 2x the Edges are quite insane damage boost. Just a pity these swords are so ridiculously huge, couldn't bring myself to wear them.

I got it from a chest in the warehouse (in a side room by itself).  right before you are confronted by the woman.

Keening Edge or whatever its called is a better 1hand sword. I think you get that one from galthakszor lol or whatever his name is.
The best 2hand swords I've found are Ageless and Summer's Sword.

Why do people seem to love Ageless so much? Probably doesn't help that it has a bunch of fairly vague attributes attached to it...only time I use it is around darkspawn (obviously), but even then, I have no clue just how much it's helping. I can't imagine it's better to use over starfang anyway.

I like to use it cuz its above average and looks pretty cool
