How's that cheval taste?  Tender enough for you?  I'm actually surprised that there's anything left on the bone after it had been buried in the ground for so long.  Must be a few, tasty, unreguritated tidbits left to chew though because people keep digging it up again and again some eleven months after the thing had supposedly died.  I mean, just look at how fresh it all looks...

Dude, let it go.  Everybody agrees -- even the developers -- that the game did not live up to expectations but it's done, it's over.  There's no need to crap all over FallTooDovahkiin's opinion just because s/he happened to like a game you didn't.

Live and let live.

Seriously.

Oh sorry, I mistook this for a DA2 forum.  You know, a place where people would discuss the game.

Funny, that you should say "discussion", which would imply sharing of opinions. What you are doing, is imposing opnion.
He stated he liked the game. You clearly didn't. That is all there is to it.

I kinda agree with Fall, really. Certainly it has problems, but I found it much more fun than Origins (which I only got through once); largely this was for mechanical reasons, but mechanics make up the majority of the game, after all. The story had several issues, but I respect it for being a rather more ambitious effort than the rather conventional one of Origins. 2's story simply had more places in which it could go wrong, and, well, it often did. But not, to me, in a crippling way.

Wow.  That is seriously a lot of hostility to be carrying around for a game for eleven months.

P. S. Just for your edification, your Oghren quote doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense as you're the one that keeps complaining about how much you hated the thing, some eleven months on.  Unless, of course, you meant it in a self-deprecating kind of way. Then good on you, I suppose.  At any rate...CHEERS!

If DA3 is anything like DA:O I'd pass... DA:O was simply too sluggish and slow in action. Ideally DA3 would have DA:O's level of story-quality and DA2's gameplay. For me at least.

Yep I'll be glad if DA3 actually has a fleshed out story -- of original or cliche design. -- but not DA2's gameplay.

At least, not all of DA2's gameplay. The new animations definitely, save for a select few that need some work done (Hemorrhage). But in terms of the actual gameplay, imo a lot of work is needed. There needs to be consistency, actual tactics used by the enemies, and so many other things.

This. Though I hope they keep the mage combat the way it is, just make the enemy mages more intelligent. There is no way in hell that I could go back to what it was in DA:O.

Agreed wholly. I didn't like Origins combat at all.
