C'mon, you aren't stupid, are you? Spoilers are bound to happen, wheter we like it or not. To avoid it, it's best to stop visiting the ME3 section of these boards. Or even better, avoid BSN altogether. Otherwise you risk getting your game spoiled as we all do. I thought this was common knowledge.

From the looks of it, ME3's space battles may rank whithin the top of all space battles, I mean, anywhere.

The BSG battle during "Exodus, Part II" and the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine battle during "Sacrifice of Angels" are the only two that are beating what I've seen for me at this point. Star Wars films have done terrific spectacles too but I haven't felt as emotionally invested in them -- they're just 'fun' to me, which is wonderful but not the same.

.
I can't say anthing about the latter, but BSG space battles... oh man, they are by far my favorite space battles eveywhere.
.
If this samples tells us anything about the scale, quality and quantity of ME3's battles I think they will be able to match, and maybe even surpass those we saw in BSG.
.
I mean, just look at those goddman pictures! It's ****ing epic!

The Adama Maneuver... I hope we see something as good in ME3, but I´m afraid most of the space battles will be really one sided.

How?! I never asked anyone to post that stuff in a thread about new videos for the game.

What has you not asking have to do anythin here? This is a dicussion forum, Bioware's own social forum where basically all the newest info and everything that is out gets discussed.

You can't seriously be thinking that you won't stubble uppon spoilers when you are here. You're taking a risk if you're avoiding spoilers when. I can't see how that isn't obvious.

Yes, but theres a difference in posting videos, and actually taking the whole leak script and throwing it out there for everyone.  Everyone expects minor spoilers from trailers, a major plot device is something completely different.  Finding something minor and the devs announcing some new information for marketing are different then hurr this is from the script.

Flawless logic. My mind is blown.

Is it really that hard for some people to show some ****ing respect for fellow fans? It's not like SWM is a new member on here.

Certainly, I agree with you that people should do it, but you people can't really be that clueless that there are some who doesn't care.

I mean, you are familiar with the internet?

Meh.

Cerberus mooks, say hello to the geth Spitfire. It fires charged superconducting toroids that rupture on impact, arcing electricity and flash-converting to plasma, much like the geth plasma shotgun. It also has six barrels and its fire mechanism is like a minigun.

No words can describe how much I want that

Then please, describe what is a "major and minor spoiler" for me? The one that Someone With Mass posted was a minor one to me.

Yep, the Adama Maneuver. :P

Anyway, anyone who liked BSG ought to try DS9. Same development team, believe it or not. But that's beside the point.

Not really seeing an issue with this though. Or was it just a generic observation? In which case, yeah, I suppose so.

I certainly hope so.
.
That part, where the basestar are firing upon the Galactica and the camera is just zooming out... you know, for a second there, I genuinely thought they were going to destroy that ship. It was the most dramatic moment I ever experienced with a series... and if ME3 can pull something  like that on me... I guess I'll just have to buy the game again.

Yes, and that is why I'm staying away from every ME3 related  board except this one. I had this wacky idea that people on the OFFICIAL ME3 board would show some damn respect when it comes to this stuff.

I somehow managed to read "Cerberus" as "Collector" both times and thought you were mentioning Shepard divorcing from the Collectors. I had bizarre, horrendous mental images enter my brain.

Well, I'm glad for the BSG support. I wish more people would watch DS9... then again, no, more people did watch it given the Trek brand name and the Nielsen ratings, it's just that it's been over since 1999.

Oh, what I wouldn't do for one. More. Season. Of several shows. :D

But back on-topic, Mass Effect is giving me that space opera fix so I'm OK.

So, Rachni, hun?
I expect those will not be present in games where the Rachni Queen was slain by Shepard.

Sadly, I can read a lot faster than I can immedtiately comprehend. Meaning if someone just spoilered something in a couple of short sentences, I read the whole thing before finally deciding to skip this post.

My unfortune that could have easily been avoided if the people simply put a *SPOILER* at the start of their posts. Now, those weren't eggregiously big ones, but it rather tells on a person's mindset if they just continue with it.

And all the little things are adding up, getting annoying. My opinion still stands, temporary ban until March 6th for everyone posting spoilers (or let's say, repeatedly posting spoilers to not ban those that just didn't thought for a moment, before submitting a spoiler'ish post).

That's fine for everyone that wants to know. But have you EVER thought about how some people might not want to know everything that has been officially cleared? And don't give me an ironic "yes", I am not in the mood for kidding. Spoiling really starts getting on my nerves and I really don't want to blackout myself and leave this community for a month to go just because some idiots think they are entitled to spew around spoilers without care, be they officially cleared or not. Show some respect for others!

Honestly? I don't see how a weapon description is a spoiler worth getting annoyed over. It just gets me excited for the game.
