It's the achievements that indicate weapon leveling.

Everyone saw the Roman-numeralled weapons making their return, right?
Yes. There has been some discussion on that in other threads as well. I've concluded that there will be multiple iterations of each weapon to discover on the battlefields throughout ME3, while others believe the weapons will automatically 'level up' or something along those lines.
Ah. Should have looked more, just on information overload right now.

Yeah, bits were obviously chopped out. You can tell by the jump cuts and too-sudden changes in the asari's demeanor.rapscallioness wrote...
I'm suspecting they might have edited that bit of dialogue tree. For time.
Not-so-sneaky edits are not so sneaky.

Well, according to this Achievements list, it sounds like you can upgrade a weapon up to level 10 (though how that can be achieved is anyone's guess right now).JeffZero wrote...

Jump cuts! Cheez is using cinema terminology.
Best day ever. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY, IT JUST IS.
Jesus Mercy, I need to stop drinking coffee right when BioWare announces stuff.

I wasn't around here on the ME2 release (I created this account back in July or something), so yeah, I guess it was pretty naive of me to think that people on here would be any better. Still doesn't make the people who spoil this stuff any less annoying and childish.
There are people that don't care about spoiling, and there are trolls, that will post spoilers just to see people get all worked up about it, and then laugh their butts off. They might get baned, or their posts get moderated, but even after that, there is always a chance that another one will appear. And they usually do, so...

Oh yeahhh. That would lend some credence to opposing viewpoints, wouldn't it? Hm. Touche.

Those armour sets we see, are those the DLC one's from ME2?
Or are we going to get multiple types in the game this time round?

So if the numerals were just for the sake of levelling the weapons, all the loot from ME1 was just picking up stuff other NPC's had spent playtime levelling?

I hope there's a lot more to the dialogue parts in the interactive storytelling trailer.
Option 1: Do your job.
Result: Nah, I don't know you. We're out!
Option 2: There's an artifact.
Result: Oh, okay! We'll clear a path.
LOL. I know, that bugged me. Well, the first option had more going on. The second one seemed very... abrupt and silly. But there was also a visible cut in the editing too. There's definitely some missing dialogue there.
Yup it was obviously truncated.
