Why does the heavy barrel for pistols look like a suppressor? How stupid. Suppressors actually reduce the damage capabilities of a weapon.Oh well. I want to put a blade on my pistol.
I'm thinking of those more like muzzle brakes or compensators at this point. Lessen the recoil and so forth.

Mass Effect is this website's crack. For a while, our drug pusher, bioware, was holding back the goods for quite a while until they gave this small but VERY concentrated dose of it. So now the site is trippin' out but as all addicts know the higher the high the harder the crash...
Yeah, this ME3 stuff gives me a way more inetense high than ME2 or ME ever did. Speakin' o' which, you got some extra ME3, dude? I need my fix ...

I know but it still looks goofy like it doesn't belong. Would be better if it looked like a flash suppressor or muzzle brake. like this.Yuoaman wrote...
Just because they look like silencers doesn't mean that they actually are silencers, though...

That helmet reminds me of Halo marines. BADASS! I just found a helmet cooler than the sentry interface.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...
Found this while pausing the video, some very different armor pieces not seen before, or at least I don't know if anyone posted them.

"One way or another, this war ends today." - From the Integrated Co-Op Multiplayer trailer. Uh... I guess that means we know the war concludes in ME3.

omg....was that Shepard openly firing from the side of a shuttle?.....AWESOMEEEEEEEEE
That does look pretty cool, but hopefully there isn't too much of the on-rails stuff or too many turret segments since they sort of cut out the whole role of playing a class which is pretty much the central tenent of the gameplay.

I don't think it was ever officially stated. They did state that it'd be the end of Shepard's story, but that's it.

Awesome. Hopefully this "Securitel" is a hint at how many different companies will be providing weapons, armor, aesthetics, etc. I really hope there are tons and tons of different helments and weapon mods in particular.

If you think about it though he was on foot well before that. You probably land, have to make your way through the complex just to 'get' to that point. And then in one of the videos there you see the SAME scene obviously after he gets off the vehicle. He's on foot, using that laser designator trying not to get squished like a bug.
Using the firing from a shuttle as an example. If that's the end, or the beginning - or a middle section to a mission? That's how that kind of thing 'should' be used. That's the kinda thing that made them original popular in the first place. Problem isn't so much in that mechanic its self, but in more recent games making entire levels out of them instead of using it to break up the usual action for something a bit more cinematic while still being interactive. Short and sweet.
I'm hoping that's how it is, and it seems to be that case from all the on-rails sections we've seen. Which to be fair is just 1. The shooting out of a cart could easily just be that, a cinematic sequence you have zero control over.
