Android?
I hope you can't get exclusive **** through this since not everyone has an iOS device.
Bioware is aware that iOS isn't the only smart OS out there, right? They did this with the iOS game too.
Android user feeling neglected again.

I hope it doesn't add any extra things to the game. I refuse to buy into all that technological nonsense like Ipods and Ipads, Mp3, and all that crap.
Dem kids and their crazy MP3 and VCRs ... In my day we walked uphill both ways in 10 feet of snow.
P.s. you should probably get rid of your computer and gaming consoles, that crazy technologoical nonsense.

I think they meant "Whatever gets us the most money we will put the game on it!"crimzontearz wrote...
right....they preach platform equality and bring the whole experience to everyone.......yet windows os and android os users are screwed
I don't see a ME3 on the Mac or even a possibility of a port for the WiiU.
Besides, where do people even hear stuff like "platform equality"? I never even hear of this...must be blind/deaf.

dlc after dlc after dlc , if you want a full experience this game will cost you more than 200 bucks
and then they cry about piracy , EA is pimping BIOWARE ...

Why can't I hold all these gimmicks?
Call them what you want, but these features do have the potential to ultimately make the game a more immersive experience, and since they don't actually take anything away from the game, you shouldn't be complaining.
Um...first...it doesn't make it a more "Immersive" experience. The real world is not going to melt away and be replaced by the Mass Effect universe because you bought an IPad app.
Second, it does take away from the actual game. Each of those things you mention is money spent on something that adds absolutely no value to a narrative driven single player game. The way to develop a great game is by focusing all of your efforts on making a game great.
It's not done by focusing all of your efforts on maximizing the amount of DLC you offer, and shoehorning in features designed only to generate more revenue.
None of this bodes well for the quality of the game, too many resources wasted on things that don't have any relation to the actual purpose of the game.
It's honestly starting to read like someone got a marketing guy completely plastered and just jotted down whatever buzzwords he was babbling as a "To do" list.

Okay, maybe that's going too far, since we haven't know the full extent/details of this aspect of the game. Maybe they might not leave the players at a loss, not experiencing the 'perfect ending' without purchasing some iPad.
Then again, maybe the Reapers won't attack Earth. Maybe.

I don't own an iPad, and Bioware promised that they wanted the players to enjoy the FULL experience of the game - regardless of what platform you're on. This is hypocrisy.
Define "full experience". Are you saying that a Magic player cannot have the full experience unless they own every Magic card ever manufactured?
Because that is essentially what all this non-story driven multiplayer DLC is. MTG cards.

Why nothing for Android?
Didn't read the thread eh?
I did. Still wondering why Android is left out...
coz developers only develop for profitable markets first, and then, perhaps in an afterthought or because they feel generous, they will develop to those filled with piracy and non-profitability all around.
Hey don't get me wrong. My phone is a samsung android, and I wished they shipped an android version. But if I were on their shoes I'd definitely go for the iOS route first.

Tough luck then.
...many android tablets are basically made for gaming and they are getting no freaking support
I've heard lots of nonsense about android for a couple of years now, but this is a gem.
edit: people fail to realise that apps are mostly developed for profitable markets, unless the developer feels like economics does not matter.

If it makes you feel better, I'm not exactly happy over the Apple hype either. But Mom bought us an iPad, why let the $800 flash game holder go to waste?crimzontearz wrote...

The geek irony is that the iPad doesn't support flash.

Actually it's not irony. The iPad was never meant to support flash, it is a resource hog. Thus, why use it. No biggie.Arkitekt wrote...
