I feel most at home behind cover using my omni-tool's tech powers to weaken/incapacitate targets, and then finish them off with a general purpose SMG like the Locust. I like sniping and overall being mischievous while cloaked just as much though.

..with my BOOMSTICK! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find it in the sporting goods department. That's right, that sweet baby is made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

The Charge Barrier buff after a charge boosts survivability, the right shotgun ensures range. Charge also can stop enemy respawnMouseNo4 wrote...
Exactly. People want the challenge of having to use a shotgun after charging to ensure they survive using charge in the first place. Hell, a good portion of players like to live on the razors edge - perfectly balancing being alive and almost dead as much as possible. I guess it gives them a rush.Soccer FeverMan wrote...

Charge -> Shotgun
If you use charge and your shot gun misses or runs out of ammo, or if there are allies nearby or out of relevant shotgun range - ur effed.

I have to put it to the guy on this thread that finished the game purely with biotics - and not a single bullet fired. You have my deepest respect!

Thanks, it was rewarding in the end but the actual gameplay on insanity had some tough moments. Not to mention fighting the Reaper in ME2 at the end, it took a little longer than usual.

To be honest, it is right there next to that IN-FREAKIN-SANE player who leveled a world of warcraft character from 1-80... purely on harvesting ore and herbs.... HOLY EFF!

Nothing had quite as much satisfaction as lighting up a moving flamethrower tank with a sniper shot, then ducking back behind cover and watching the guy burn for a few seconds before detonation.

I soon realized powers had little effect but I switched between singularity and Warp if I remember correctly, but mostly I just killed the spawning collectors and let my team-mates whittle down its health. That's why it took so long.

Biotics usually, nothing like a good ol' pull + throw or pull + warp to make your enenmies scream
Second best is that sweet sound of reloading after headshot with the mantis

My favorite way of killing enemies in ME2 is first using pull on them and then use charge to blast them into space. Another is using shockwave to knock them into the air and shotgun them before they even hit the ground.

Just out of boredom, i just created a brand new femshep, (ME3 default femshep) and loaded up an adept. See how far i can get without firing a single shot. Starting at level 1, adept is surprisingly slow to kill if you dont use weapons. I didnt know what to choose as a bonus power for an adept as i had not really tried one. I chose reave, then changed to barrier.
It is just so slow killing things. Warp, singularity, pull, throw etc etc.I have to micro my squad to help speed up killing. It is so slow, my squad usually dies before the enemies do. And this is on normal difficulty rofl!
Still, i have gone from naming shep to acquiring mordin with a disabled fire button.
