I want clarification from Bioware. If I go an pre-order this DLC and find out that its what I have in the N7 CE I will be flipping mad. For that reason, I'm not going to preorder the DLC until I can get some clarification.

EA really doesn't care about its fans.
Just include everything that was made for the game IN the game, and sell DLC later.
Noone will fault you for this, but day 1 dlc shows you don't give a crap about releasing a quality game, just about profits.

If its Day 1 DLC, it should be available on the Xbox Marketplace, PSN or the Bioware store, don't know why you would pre-order it. I could be wrong but I've never heard of pre-ordering DLC. And why would they offer DLC instore only?
As for the CE DLC, obviously the character will be available but the other stuff shouldn't be. Kind of defeats the point of the CE if it's all available later.

There are multiple sites quoting and pointing to the Joysiq site (Googled), and none offering any new information, which is which is why I still remain skeptical at this point. I haven't seen anything regarding special offers from GameStop (where I buy my games, and they often call me when something like this becomes available). If I can, I'll swing by there tomorrow during lunch tomorrow.

its probably just prothy its already been confirmed the dlc character will be available to people who didnt get the CE on day one and this wouldent be the first time bioware has had a dlc character availible on day 1 either (shale/zaeed/sebastian now prothy)

I'll work for the occasional poutine lunch and a lower salary than the current yes man/woman. I also actually play video games and know Marilyn Manson doesn't resonate with today's gamers and rpg fans.

Sometimes, things get put into the point of sales system before they're actually ready to sell. It is quite possible some clerks at Gamestop saw this in the system and said 'cool, Mass Effect 3 DLC. Let's tell people it is here' and started selling it without an actual go ahead from corporate.
