I have absolutely no information or prior knowledge of this infamous Mr P but I think I may have guessed it. gaargh. I have tried to keep clear of spoilers. but because of my deductions I think I need to know this! anyone willing to get a pm from me with my thoughts and supply a simple yes or no?

It doesn't look like Mr P was ever a DLC character, they're an important part of the story with a huge plot role.

I think 'From Dust' is the ME3 CE DLC (bonus character and mission) that can be purchased by other consumers on day one.

We'll probably find out tomorrow. This might even be one of the reasons Priestly had to delay his armada of announcements that were supposed to be made today.

yeah, I have an idea/guess at what the DLC could be( if infact there is a second DLC character) but I don't want to post it in case

1) I look like an idiot
2) Someone has a go at me because of "OMG spoilers!!!"

I see people talking about this DLC, which imo is probably the same thing included in the CE, being 10 to 15 hours in duration. I have to say that that seems incredibly unlikely to me. I simply can't see any publisher, even EA, cut that much content from a game and expect people to be okay with paying extra for it the day the game is released. Also, that much content would go for $25 easily.

Because of it being "vital". If you sell in dlc, you make more money. Take a look at EA's recent press conferences.

Also, no way would EA charge 10$ for 10 hours worth of content, you would see them get rid of origin before that happens - so the obvious answer is it is not 10 hours worth of content, unless its the dlc character, and those 10 hours include him coming on missions and other story events, which imo is false representation.

Severely doubt it would be 10-15 hours.. 1-1.5 sounds more likely. It's either Prothy or the project $10 dlc that is in both CE and normal editions.

Haha, that's a good one, we're still getting 3 hour games for $50-$60.

Locking the thread, yes, but I did not call the OP a troll. When I locked the topic I said "Sounds like trolling to me..." not quite the same thing.

So far, we have yet to see anything official as proof that there will be a 10-15 hour long DLC by that name, which is what was claimed in the original thread and the OP ammends here.

Will there be a day 1 DLC?

Always a possibility, BioWare has done it before. We know from previous information (as mentioned earlier in this thread) that there will be a character made available for non-CE buyers.

However, I seriously doubt that the DLC will be any longer than the Kasumi DLC, maybe as long as the LotSB DLC if they decided to design it in detail to flesh it out.

At any rate, the devil is always in the details, which are currrently lacking at this point.

Don't forget to go to the toilet and flush. There's a chance that if you flush at the correct time, a VI hologram will pop up and deliver a DLC code that will help you unlock new features for Shepard's restroom in Mass Effect 3.

It's like CE is the actual version of the game and standard is just a watered down version for poor people.
