I agree with you, given the fact ME3 demo with feature femshep, it make much more sense to show her trailer before it.

I'm just saying is that given ME3's marketing story, someone saying something doesn't mean anything.

I think this whole femshep thing have been pretty stupid ever since the hair color vote... it clearly showed they had no idea what they were doing. And since then teasing people with a trailer that will come only less than one month before the game release.

Seriously, there was a lot of better ways to handle that.

It was a shame that the vote sort of came down to which one do think is the prettiest. Whats even more of a shame is that I voted

In the end of the game it's revealed that Shepard was really dying on the toilet seat and the events flashed in his mind.

But really I just think Reapers are starting to affect his mind. Or maybe the Prothean beacon did something more than just devlier a message.

Not really.  The author of the Game Informer article on single player that came out recently used Femshep, and the child was still a little boy. 

Its almost like they didn't play the final build.

I would think it is possible that the Game Informer journalist may have played an older build of the game where it was a boy for either gender (as in a placeholder). Regardless, you're right that it's all speculation at this point.
