My guess is the guy made a mistake and thought it was a little girl, but it is in fact the little boy.  It happens.

As for femshep trailer finally coming out soon instead of "soon."

Maybe the kid changes based off gender?

That's another way of saying "reading too deep", I saw it as a mild cliche moment, I'll even go so far as to say, if the mission is completed with the best possible outcome, you will see the child again, that's the impression I get.

When it comes down to it, we have to understand that software can pe unpredictable sometimes. They could say that a trailer would be finished for a certain date, but maybe they discover some scene which contains some mistakes or a bug or something. It's better they show everything when they know it's ready.

It was from the oldest document in the leak, not "reading too deeply".  Hence why I'm not going into huge details lest I bring on the wrath of Chris.  What was in there was pretty intense, but it all disappeared in the newer documents.

Yeah... it being a hallucination is just stupid. Lowers the stakes and consequences of war if they cop out by making it an imaginary kid. When I first saw the kid blow up, it was emotional and perfectly awesome.

Well, in a week we're going to be playing as the new femshep, so I'm not very hyped up about the trailer anymore. Maybe 7 or 8 months ago.

I would like it if Bioware stopped using Valve Time™ when discussing timetables for such releases though.
