I tried doing playthrough me1 where i romanced no one but in end for some reason ashley and my shepard. I turned her down at end of game and did not sleep with her so my question is will this count as romance still i was trying to be nice but somehow she to it wrong way :( how do i know if it counted or does it not unless you have romance scene in the end.

You just got ninjamanced.

Happened to me as well. It likely happened to you when you escaped from the Citadel. Ashley is approaching you to get you back up and if you don't get renegade at this part, the romance is unavoidable. It's too late already when she is coming to your quarters. Even if you reject her there, the romance still counts for ME2. The sex is not even flagged extra.

**** this ****. Next save game shes dieing on Virmire just to make sure she does not become a romance. I was planning on skping romances in me1 and just romancing tali in me2 and me3. Might as well reload my save and at least get my sheaprd laid. I would have to reload to far if i wanted to avoid romance with her all together.

Yeah, it's annoying, but in the end I realized that it's not that bad. You romanced her, but who cares. You can still change like nothing happened.

I keep it this way: She cut you off in ME2 and you found a new love^^

Eh not sure if i want to switch at this point. I dont think i even have a me2 save where i did not romance any one so would be interesting see what happens if i stick with ashley through it all.

For future reference if you want to cut Ash out of romance potential in your first conversation (about the aliens) there's a "You're out of line" option on the left; that'll kill any chance of a romance and you can be as nice as you want.
