I know it's possible with the use of console commands or save editors, but I am unsure of how to do this, what program to use and what complications this can cause in the game (Eg. what happens when you actually do the mission you're supposed to get Legion on).

^link to one I like to use.
Read the notes and directions(few that there are) before doing any changes and make a backup before doing any changes.
As far as Legion, nothing really changes except you get a funny scene if you take him to retrieve the IFF, as in there can be only one at a time, and the other is invisible.
I have done it and didn't see any issues in gameplay, but only after ME3 comes out will you be able to say with a certainty that it is ok to use.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could explain why the following happens to me? I decided that I wanted to edit the bloom scale in the coalesced.ini folder, (changing from 0.2 to -0.5). This is all I changed, and when I went to play the game it worked perfectly. However, when I went to squad select at the beginning of the level, all of the characters which I hadn't even unlocked yet were selectable. Why is this?
