Mass Effect: Infiltrator Gameplay Video on Youtube

Known facts about Randall Ezno:

  • He starts off as a Cerberus Agent that pulls away from Cerberus.
  • His job for Cerberus has him collecting alien species for study.
  • He is also a biotic with pull being a confirmed move.
  • He will be reporting intel to Commander Shepard.
  • He has a Cerberus handler in the beginning of the game (Anali Renata)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This thread is for discussion about the newest lead character in the Mass Effect universe: Randall Ezno. The last lead ended up being Jacob, so who knows where this guy is going to end up!

From the pictures that have been released it looks like our protagonist has had some "upgrades" done to him... Perhaps the same upgrades and blue eyes that have been inflicted on other Cerberus operatives?

What we do know at this point is that he is working against Cerberus to rescue prisoners and get intelligence. From the second picture it seems that his previous job of capturing aliens to bring back to his organization could have backfired: it looks like they were doing dangerous testing (Cerberus' usual MO). It could be possible he represents a faction within Cerberus that doesn't agree with the direction the Illusive Man is taking them.

He does look like he means business and seems to have a passing resemblence to the Illusive Man.

So far it seems at the very least to be able to equip sniper rifles (if it is indeed the same slot on the back as ME2), assault rifles, and there appears to be a shotgun on his back.

Mass Effect: Infiltrator will first come to iOs but "eventually" it will come to Android enabled devices as well!

I'll update this thread as more information comes in!

He could be a Cerberus android with skin put on it.

If you get where my theory comes from...

Hmm... potential DLC squadmember if Prothy turns out to be baseline? Three mandudes in the same squad might be a bit too much, however...

He would definitely be interesting as a DLC squadmember. He would share a lot in common with Shepard in that case. Both of them going against Cerberus, both of them apparently modified by similar techniques (looking at the eyes and facial markings at least), and both of them look like professional soldiers.

I'd much rather Prothy be baseline and Randall end up as the DLC character. And it makes sense he'll appear in ME3 after what they did with Jacob.

Holy sh*t, that's possible.

Though, still rather Batarian instead.

Though it might be possible that the Illusive Man might have used similar techniques on his agents to enhance them.

Randall could be walking around with the same tech that made Grayson a monster...

^Though that would be ANOTHER Cerberus failure, since he's attacking Cerberus.

Like in the last book, that is getting edited, Mr. Illusive Man did mention an Army of Graysons which maybe why that certain Cerberus dudes are the way they in ME3. Not going to say anymore since it may contain spoilers.

That would definitely be an interesting theory.

Added a theory that Randall might represent a faction within Cerberus that doesn't agree with the direction TIM is taking them in. There could potentially be a power struggle going on here.

Since Cerberus works in cells a "rebel" faction could destroy other cells contrary to their position without weakening their own forces. And they could potentially sow some good will with the Alliance and even the Council to boot.

Added in new information: Randall does indeed start off as a Cerberus Agent. He then begins to pull away from them as the game continues. He is also confirmed to be a biotic.

Cool. There is no such thing as too many bad asses. We need as many as we can get in Mass Effect.

I'm going to have to borry a friend's iPad to play this. I don't think it will play well on my iPhone with it's much smaller screen.
