I canceled my regular edition preorder to upgrade to the deluxe edition and it was processed by the next day. Just followed the instructions at http://support.direc...?questionID=21.

n my experiance, you will have to contact customer support and explain your issue. They may refund your money but it will take 5 - 7 working days for the refund to hit your account. If you order from someone else in the meantime you will be tying up more money.

It's just a pre-load aint like you can play it... and plenty of time left to preload.



Anyhow, you can't cancel pre-orders on D2D, says that when you are ordering.. Pre-orders are non refundable. In an hour or all will be forgotten as the thing starts

This is correct.  By "processed by the next day", I meant that they replied and said my preorder would be refunded within 5-7 days.

maybe but when the timer went off the database didnt update peoples codes and a "OH ****" flag was raised and after a long Holloween party, they are trying to dry out the database programmer shoving coffee down his throat so he can code a solution.. In the meantime, enjoying the hissy fits being thrown on the forums.. If it was release day I might care.. but its not.. and a mere couple hours aint gonna matter...

If you dont like D2D, then perhaps don't buy it.. But D2D compared to Steam is hands down in another league in the Vector3.forward direction. Have fun wiht your Steam Download, and when you realize you wont really be able to tweak steam, that itll redownload everytime you do... lol
