Adding 2 more evolution ranks is really nice to see, I also like what I've seen so far in the what we know on skill stuff. Seems like each ranks, more often then not, based off doing something different then universally upping damage. For instance in ME2, Warp does Dmg -> dmg -> dmg -> Dmg or area. Now it just has base dmg and its focus is a bit more split then just lots of dmg boosts. Granted 4th rank is still warp AoE boost vs straight dmg boost. But rank 2-3 are bit more interesting not just the choices.
Ahh other nice thing about it is no more skill requirements to get another skill. Instead there paced out via char lvl (think all of which is unlocked by 20). Personally feels thats a much better way to handle it. I disliked having to throw 3 points into something just to get to something I wanted.
So yes, I definitely like the updated direction for ME3.

Yeah that was a bit vague of a question but... I think ME3 has been heading in the right direction on just about everything (except maybe to much promotional shenanigans but... thats marketting not the developers.)

This. I think the new class/Weapon modification system we've got in ME3 is the best i've seen in all the 3 games, if you ask me BioWare has struck gold when it comes to the new class/Weapon mod system, it's soooo much easier to navigate though then it was in ME2/and refined better then ever!.
Its simply the system we've all wanted since ME2 and in ME3 we've got it!
