Miranda and Jacob don't have the right mindset to run Cerberus. We need somebody who is practical and ruthless. Miranda is all talk and no bite. Jacob... he is way too soft.

Oleg Petrovsky?

Dunno, haven't read the comics. However nobody who was against saving the Collector base is fit to lead the organization.

masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Oleg_Petrovsky

I believe that Oleg Petrovsky is a viable choice to lead a renewed Cerberus, based on what I've read about him.

Regardless of the reason for being an enemy them being as powerful as they are completely contradicts established lore and is downright nonsensical. ME2 established that they were severely setback financially due to funding Lazarus and the SR-2 and later were nearly wiped out by the Turians in Retribution who arrested their Alliance moles, raided a number of their front companies and shutdown a lot of their bases(and slaughtered all their personnel there). Now with if that wasn't enough with the Reapers laying siege to Earth and destroying much of the Alliance military their remaining front companies and moles would be completely cut off.

And the Cerberus plot is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to atrocious writing in ME3.

Wait for the game to come out before posting the exact same thing?

I mean, it's not like we've got the entire media confirming our fears and have the leak.

Do you think the story has changed substantially since the leaked script? Honestly?

If not, their complaints are just as valid now as on release day.

The best bet for Cerberus' survival at this point is a change in leadership...

The difference of 'thinking' and 'knowing'. Yes, it is essential, and it makes a complaint more valid.

Indeed, some Clint Mansell music, voice acting and early 2000s console graphics aren't going to make the script into a good one.

Truth be told, I'm not sure why. We've won in the game itself already.

It's a disgrace you're talking about this in terms of "winning" and "losing", when everyone loses due getting a linear game with no player agency whatsoever.

I have to agree for once. There is no point in making the right choices when there are no wrong choices.

They have plenty of very obviously wrong choices, don't worry about that. <_<

Oh, if only they had been that splinter faction they were in ME1. None of the pathetic TIM crap and replacing it with something that's actually respectable instead of stamping "necessary loss" on everything that goes wrong for them just to smack every player/reader/viewer over the head with the message that they'll do whatever it takes, even if it bears little to no impact.

According to the script Paragon is "succes" and Renegade is "failure". Though, that only applies to the "tone" of each, in truth both "paths"  are two sides of the same worthless coin. Besides Cerberus there's also streamlining and railroading of the Quarian/Geth and Rachni plots that prevents Shepard from taking sides in any tangible sense.

Once again I have to bring out this image.

Lol I love this pic. Yeah and I thought so from the moment I heard there would be no 'Reapers Win' scenario. Like for example in Arrival. Shame.

Okay, fine.

The thought processes which the writers had when writing the game months before launch is poorly thought out, what they wrote down and lived through two iterations of scripts and has been shown on the media is bad. Maybe when release, all these issues will magically disappear. Maybe the writer had a sudden thought and decided to rewrite the script months in.

The script is what it is, that isn't likely to change between now and release.

Let's hope KoA is not representative for future EA/Bioware 'RPGs'. I just read a review today, and it is ... disillusioning.

I don't believe the leaks mentioned how Cerberus got its army. I believe this because Seboist keeps saying that it doesn't say how.

I actually was pleasantly surprised by that turn of events; it even made me wish I'd been supportive of Cerberus and TIM all along.
