Any chance Kaidan will be S/S romanceable?

I have a playthrough -- doing all side quests, full paragon -- from ME1 and ME2 ready for ME3.  I, stupidly, killed Kaidan way back in ME1.  If there's a chance my male character can have a relationship with him, I'm willing to do the whole playthrough again. But, I wouldn't do it if Kaidan was straight-only.

Do you think they'll make him bi?  Any word on this? James Vega is a bit of a hottie too but Kaidan wins.

Thanks...

Last time I've heard, they are planning to make everyone bisexual.

Officially, there's no confirmation on any of the romanceable characters except for Diana Allers (Jessica Chobot's character). Unofficially, Kaidan's voice actor said that it will be possible to romance Kaidan as male Shepard. You can take it however you want, some people believe him like they believe Jessica Chobot, some people insist he must've been mistaken or didn't know what he was talking about. There's also been a leak of the game's script but that didn't confirm whether Kaidan can be romanced by male Shep or not.

So at this point we don't know for sure. It's likely, but it's not confirmed.

Thanks Isaac! Good enough for me, then. Now I have about 70+ hours to put in within 30 days. Can do. I was getting bored of SWTOR anyway.

No they have never said that.  My guess is that many characters will be straight while several will be bi.  Mainly Tali, Garrus, Thane, etc will be straight while Kaiden, Ashley, (maybe?) and the new characters will be bi.

That is just my guess though.

If there's a chance for a bi!Ash, I'll have a playthrough reserved for her regarding that matter. But I doubt so. ^^

If he did, they aren't in the files.

He didn't record separate s/s lines for ME1. The devs considered simply reusing the same lines from o/s romance. It was possible because Meer & Hale recorded Shep lines for both genders. But eventually the devs decided not to because these o/s lines didn't fit when straight-out copy+pasted from into s/s context. They didn't have time to create new lines nor new cutscenes so in the end there was no s/s romance with Ash & Kaidan.
