I'm not kidding, this guy has even improved rather quickly over time. He's got some serious talent and a love for the ME-verse.

And this trailer, though I know it's all somewhat subjective, seems to have the best overall feel and blend to it; it's got plenty of action, just enough exposition, emotional and dramatic moments, excellent editing, intruige and implied mysteries, outstanding music selection/editing, and even subtle things to it that add to the rewatch value.

Please tell me you guys agree...or, if not, why not?

EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm NOT the guy who made that trailer and I don't even know the guy's real name (or know all that much about him period, when I think about it). I just think he's that good.

Just watched this myself on Youtube coincidentally. Best fan trailer I've ever seen. Comes pretty close to the original ME2 launch trailer. Just great. Moving too.

That was very good, he had one spot where I thought he could improve. The "extinction is one decision away" part needed even spacing, not slapping "decision" and "away" together and faster and breaking the nice flow he had with the rest of the phrase.

Barhador: Did you actually watch this one? I've never heard any of that music (despite loving the genre that's used so often in trailers), and I haven't seen some of the footage in that trailer.

And besides, none of that matters for a general trailer. I'd rather a great trailer come out with no new footage than an average trailer with new footage. It's important to keep in mind that most trailers aren't really meant to appeal to the core, dedicated fanbase, but rather to the general gaming population in the hopes of acquiring new players.

Yeah MikkroBitti makes some of the best damn fan trailers ever. This was probably the best one I've ever seen and is worthy to be an actual trailer for this game

It's pretty pathetic how no matter how positive a thread title is, there is also some sad person who just has to pop in and try and put a damper on other people's fun.

Editing is the key. Remember ME2 launch trailer? It was also nothing we wouldn't have seen before. But the combination of impeccable editing and prefectly selected music made it one of the best video game trailers ever. This fan trailer is also VERY well constructed.

i agree.

i mean it was good, dont get me wrong. did it get me excited? sure, but it did that the first time i saw those scenes or heard those phrases too.

theres one fanmade that features original CGI, along with a good presentation too. i enjoyed that more then cutscenes ive already seen.

Pretty decent. And yes, of course, better than anything I could have done. Didn't really move me though. Didn't care for some of the dialogue choices and I echo Sword's sentiment on the spacing in those words.
