I don't know why people like these fan trailers. They just show things we've already seen in other trailers in a different sequence and different (and often over-used) music.

i mean it was good, dont get me wrong. i just feel like anyone with enough time could replicate the same thing. so it just dosnt impress me, seeing what ive already sene of hearing what ive already heard.

Easier said than done.

theres one fanmade that features original CGI, along with a good presentation too. i enjoyed that more then cutscenes ive already seen.

Anyone with enough time could also replicate Mass Effect... are you not impressed?

Normally the ME3 fan trailers have been pretty poor - just scraps of footage with Sovereign's speech played over it.

This one was pretty incredible though.

That was absolutely phenomonal. Bioware, fire whoever has been doing your crappy trailers and hire this guy. He actually included the aspect of decisio-making, rather than that premature gears-of-duty crap.

Had I not known any better, I could see myself believing that was a launch trailer.

I still think Dawn of War and Decperation are his best.

Agreed.

You have to have a good sense of pacing, cuts, music, tone...it's like creating a two-minute movie. Only harder. Since you have two minutes to get your story out, flash it with the logos so people know what the hell your're talking about and avoid anything that would spoil the movie....especially difficult when all the best scenes are probably happening in the end-game.

At least fans are doing marketing to hold some people over until Bioware gets to it.

This trailer managed to do something that Bioware has completely FAILED to do since ME1.

Make the Reapers scary.

In ME1, they were a frightening enemy that took an entire armada to destroy just one of them. They just don't pack the same punch in ME2 and in the ME3 leaked script.

Bravo to the guy that made this.

Yeah, it was good. And through his feed, I found this:

Watch at your own risk if you haven't already!

I thought it was remarkable.

"Extinction is one decision away" was a truly excellent tag, because to my mind, it crystallizes everything the Mass Effect games are supposed to stand for: that considering your choices matters, that balancing the pangs of your conscience against the greater good matters. That in the end, if you make good choices (not necessarily morally good, but tactically good), you'll make a difference.

Maybe not perfect timing on the text for the tag, but it was close. And that's a nitpick. I was impressed.

Incredible, considering the limited number of scenes you have to work with (ME3 scenes).

Much better than most official trailers thus far, and definitely restores the fear of the reapers.

RE:  OP

That was one of the best fan-made trailers I have ever seen.  I think it is complemented by the Ashley one this guy mocked up with the Horizon letter...

It was fantastic for the first 52 seconds. After that it felt like it was trying much too hard to be epic.

Much better than the official ones to tell the truth...... It has a cinematic touch that the oficials don't
