It's too late but, Spectre status doesn't matter in ME3, you're working with the Alliance. There's a line of dialog that changes, and it's Shepard sucking up to the council. "I'm a Spectre, it's my job."

I really wish there was a no gods no masters playthrough for ME3. But that's too much choice for bioware.

I'm sorry that I ruined the entirty of ME3 for you by saying a six word sentence and stating the obvious.

Exactly why I said unnecessary.  The fact that it's a small detail doesn't make it any less annoying, and one could easily argue that it had the potential to be a significant part of the plot, and that the confirmation that it doesn't is a rather significant spoiler.

Of course, this type of thing has become only too common.

The good news is, even though everyone has been stating things from the leaks as definite fact, the leaks are from an early draft. An early draft with all sorts of chunks missing. No one has the full script, so take everything you DO see from the leaks with a grain of salt.

Oh for the love of god. Fine, have it your way: in the few months since the script was leaked, they changed everything. You totally can't trust it.
