Yea somehow I don't see my renegade femshep siding with any batarians...I kind of killed every single killable batarian in that playthrough...which I think = all of them.

My paragon shep would probably try to help a few of them survive. The batarian goverment and military stuff will be destroyed by the reapers because of my passive-aggressive shep though.

The batarians will be wiped out of existence by my renegade.

The Batarian Hegemony is most likely have been destroyed by the Reapers since they were the first to be invaded. Whatever remains, probably mainly military, would be much more focus on the survival of their race as it can be presumed millions of batarians have been killed, indoctrinated, harvested, and huskified.

Because Batarians aren't known for being selfish stubborn bastards. They won't unite with humanity. They'd be the type to try and sell humanity out and form an alliance with the Reapers.

You've clearly missed the hostility the two races share.

To be honest did anyone care that it was Batarians in the arrival DLC? Any other race I'd have felt severe guilt. However wiping out a planet full of slavers, mercs and anti-human extremists was just the icing on the saving the galaxy cake. At least I got to grant a painless mercy kill to the slaves undoubtedly being worked to death on the planet. Win them back? Nah. I'm hoping they join the reapers to keep my Paragon Shep's conscience clear when he finishes the job.

I didn't left the hatred out. The batarian government got slaughter by the Reapers which they are the ones to blame for all of the terrorism, piracy, slaver attacks against human colonies. Because they loaded their people with propaganda which made their people do insane acts for their so called Batarian Rebellion. With their government mostly gone what remains of their military will focus their attentions towards the Reapers as the Reapers are actively killing batarians all over batarian space; the Reapers are likely using indoctrination to gain key information about their defenses; and millions of batarians have been huskified and killed. I would think reality would set in. Beside which is more a threat humans, who locked up Shepard for killing 300k batarians, or the Reapers that are killing millions of batarians and destroying many of their colonies?

I'm quite sure Aria's henchmen and the Blue Suns disagree. Maybe Zaeed takes back control of the Suns and accept batarians and works with Shep to get them to help persuade their fellow batarians to help the galactic cause.

Slaver attacks on human colonies is the major reason and the Bring Down the Sky would have killed several million humans and the planet. I remember somewhere they took away an asari colony once and bombarded a salarian colony as well.
