I recently visited a GameStop store in sweden where i found a collectors edition of Mass Effect 2 for the 360.

Today i managed to try redeeming the code, which worked just fine as the DLC shows up on the User Entitlements list here.

My problem arrives when i try to find said item in-game, as there is no trace of the DLC on the Downloadable content list, nor in-game.

I've already tried to disable the auto-login to make sure the game logs into the correct account, only for me to not get any login prompts when i press 'Y' to log into the Cerberus network.

Edit: Just checked the storage devices on my 360, there is no sign of the DLC there either. :(

First question: where did you redeem your code? (I personally would suggest that if you can redeem through the game then always redeem through the game to minimize possible problems.)

Second question: wherever you redeemed it (I assume you did it on PC, at least that's the impression I get) check to see whether your Gamertag is connected with that EA account (this one as it were). From my understanding once you've used an EA account with the game it will always log onto that account (I have yet to see anyone suggest a method for changing this default log-in).

I think those sort of dlcs are in the locker, usually there's a pop-up. However, it sounds like that you've redeemed a code but never downloaded it. I would tentatively suggest you check the PC version of my basic redownloading dlc guide in my sig to see if there's anything in your download history (at least browsing that on a PC is a lot easier than on the 360 itself). If it doesn't show anything and your Gamertag is correctly linked to the EA account you redeemed the dlc to, then I think your only recourse would be EA support.

I redeemed the code here on the site as it said i was supposed to do on the note the code was on.

I've tried to reset the auto login for the game on my other xbox as well so i could manually login to ensure the correct account was used, this doesn't seem to work as the game *still* automatically logs in when i press Y to login on the Cerberus network.

I've downloaded the DLC so that i can atleast have it for the PC version of the game, now if only i could get it to work on the 360 as i've now tried on *both* of my 360s and it *still* won't work.

I've alredy tried EA Support, and eventually was told that they couldn't help with my problem.

Trying to reset the auto log-in on another 360 wouldn't have an effect if you're using the same Gamertag, at least that's what I would presume. Once the Gamertag is associated with that EA account I am unaware of how to disassociate them; I would think it would be another job for EA support.

You've lost me when you state you've downloaded it for the PC. That makes me question whether the dlc you are trying to get on your 360 is even available for it. For that check your game entitlements; I half suspect that you aren't entitled to the dlc on your 360--only the PC.

Sometimes you have to keep trying with EA support from what I've read, they aren't always the most helpful.

The code i used unlocked it for both the 360 and the PC.

On my user entitlements list here on this site it shows as available for both the PC and the 360.

Hmm, i'll try contacting EA support again.

Edit: Contacting EA support again was a bit more helpfull, still not enough though as the DLC is *still* not ingame.

So, i've pretty much given up on this DLC for now... Image IPB

What concerns me is that originally the Cerberus Network was essentially cross platform for the PC and 360; by extension it may have applied to the promo dlcs too. However a change in the original guide concerning that meant that the Cerberus Network locks you into one platform. As such I'm not sure how strict the person you're dealing with at EA support will be with that; I've read that it can be hit and miss.

I think i've figured out why i can't get this DLC to work ingame.

As it turns out, i redeemed the code on the wrong frickin account.

It seems that most, if not all, of my 360 games (and possibly the consoles themselves, including gamertag) is linked to an old gmail account of mine that got erased years agon.

And unless i get my gamertag attached to this account as well, there is little hope of me getting this DLC on my 360s (unless i manage to talk an EA Support operator to give me another DLC code for it.

I was also getting a little nervous about the Reckoning DLCs for ME3 as they didn't appear on the entitlements list on this account either, but i did find them on my other account, including an early access to the ME3 Demo for the 360.

If you know where things went wrong then that gives you a starting point as to how to rectify the situation. That would probably mean a fair bit of to-ing and fro-ing with EA support.

Check your EA account, link in sig, and see if you add Persona to see if that helps with access on your 360. But seeing that your 'original' account is gone as it were (lack of email) then it may be trickier. Still....persevere with EA support and things should be sorted out.

Lucky you. Still think they could have delayed it a bit more and made an ultimate edition. Looks very swish.
