Ok thing is. Shepard at the moment had no weapons with him/her. Jack is a superior biotic. If a fight would brake out, Jack would smear the wall with Miranda, and that would basically be it. After that Shepard would just decide what to do with Jack. If Shepard attacked Jack empty handed, Jack would smear the wall with Shepard as well, and then the crew would decide what to do with Jack.
I am not a huge fan of Jack, this is just lore facts.

Speculation is fact now? Oh D.Kain, you so silly!

Well the SM proved that Jack is the superior biotic.

As for killing Shepard? Jack is supposedly the most powerful human biotic so so I'm sure she'd be able to tear him to shreds. Unfortunately the average fan doesn't like their Shepard being any less then a god so would likely never admit this.

Even if Shepard is a biotic, Jack is more powerful in the lore. Of course that may not always be the case in gameplay, but gameplay and story or not the same thing. Jack and Miranda are not even close to being at the same level biotically. If Jack and Miranda truly fought each other with biotics, it would not end well for Miranda unless Shepard intervenes. Jack is the most powerful human biotic in the galaxy and as far as the crew of the Normandy goes, only Samara is possibly  probably stronger.

That being said, biotic abilities don't make someone invincible. They can still be shot and killed, and Shepard has killed many biotics throughout his career. Whether or not Shepard comes out on top of a confrontation with Jack depends on a lot of factors, including whether or not Shepard is 1) armed, and 2) has the drop on her.

Miranda probably since my Shep would throw up a biotic dampening field before getting them to fight in a mud pit. Jack's in her normal attire, and Miranda in a bikini. Then Shep and Joker would kick back and take pics. I doubt Jack's fight style is anything more than a street brawler style.

I'm sure more likely than not Shepard would get his behind handed to him if he fought Jack but of course we'll never know if that is actually the case. I'm happy enough that Vega can seemingly kick his ass.

Jack would win only if she attacks first and hits. Miranda is a strategist, she can easily anticipate any of Jack moves and do a proper counterattack, every biostic is vulnerable after using a biotic attack (said in the novels). She has brains and habilities, Jack only have raw power.

I like both characters, and after the SM I think both of them respect each other and won't do anything to complicate things.

exactly the lore states Jack is the most powerful human biotic (supported by the mech destruction and the faqct jack can do the biotic walk and Miiranda cannot).  The three people in the room during this scenerio are all unarmed humans.  you are absolutely correct you could probably go on with the smears until you reach Samara or Grunt...

Tali: Yeah! Its not her fault she was orphaned! I assume putting down families is just the kind of thing Cerberus is used to since you did it plenty of times on the Flotilla.

Zaeed: I had to put an entire family down once. Jessie just kept firing......and I was the only one that made it out alive....

Garrus: This is a lot like that time with you, Liara and Ashley, Commander. Just like old times Shepard. I'd stay and watch but I'm in the middle of some calibrations

Grunt: I get to fight the winner!

Jacob: Fighting Miranda or Jack......heavy risk.....but the priiiiiiiiiiize...

Shepard: Legion! Don't you have an opinion on this?

Legion: We are reaching a consensus Shepard-Commander. Please try again later.

Shepard: <_<

Thane: I will remember this moment until the day I die.

Morinth: This really turns me on.

Fixed.

Fixed it more for ya

Added a couple more. This is awesome.

As for the ACTUAL topic at hand, it would be ridiculous for Shepard to kill on of his own crew members on his own ship. No matter how charismatic, the rest of the crew would be terrified and I think there would be a mass exodus.

Now if it were in another, more Kaidan/Ashley scenario, eh, I'd be more likely to choose Jack.

It would be ridiculous if you had to choose who to save over a trivial argument. Jack's unstable, but not THAT unstable. If it was an argument over a serious moral issue that could result in one person get killed over it (like with Shep and Wrex in ME1) that would be more understandable.

Some might argue (especially jack) that an innocent little girl being tortured and abused her entire child hood and said torture being dismissed as a simple "mistake" by an employee (and apologist) for the very organization that committed the aforementioned atrocities IS a moral issue.

I think if I'm a Renegade shepard, I side with Miranda because she's vital to the mission.

If I'm a Paragon, I'm probably too much of a moralist to be practical. So I'd do the right thing and pop a cap in Miranda's a**

It's some pretty solid speculation though. If I'm betting and I want to WIN money, I wouldn't bet against jack if there's no weapons. Maybe Samara but no one else.

Jack took out a space station, and made a living going through people would Miranda really be so hard?

I hate sounding like some fanfic writer, but considering Lawson's an elite operative she obviously would have set up contingencies if Jack went (even more) crazy on the ship.

In that situation yes Jack would be very powerful and most likely defeat anyone save for Samara. For Miranda it would be like throwing an unarmed human in a varren pit with a Krogan. However Miranda is a superior overall combatant and imo a better rounded squadmember.

Jack has raw power (not too sure about endurance), Miranda has training, a quick planner's mind, and better concentration.

Hmm. That said, I'm pretty sure Miranda has safeguards installed to keep Jack at bay. Besides, Shepard is basically Space Jesus, so I'm not seeing the point here.

Would have killed of Miranda just as easily as I "sacrificed" (conveniently) Kaiden. Annoying characters...
