So I hear from some sources the PS3 release date will be the 3rd, and other it will be 17th and some even the 19th. While I fully understand it is not the technical aspects of the game which might be holding back the release date, but rather the publication issues or something of that nature. Now, I like to put stock into Bio Ware/EA that when they say the release date will be the 3rd, it will be the 3rd. However, when every possible retailer in Vancouver Canada (which is where I live) is telling me the release date will be the 17th, my confidence in the matter is shaken. As a PS3 owner and an avid Bio Ware fan, I'm starting to get sick of being emotionally jerked around on the release date, I have been following this game since day one and through all of the previous release date set back. Can someone give me a definitive answer on who, what, when, where or why I might be being told different release date? Or can any person who claims to have seen copies in stores, albeit on the shelf or in the back, confirm they saw a PS3 copy and where (preferably in Vancouver Canada.)

The PS3 release for North America, i.e. US and Canada IS NOV. 3rd. Ray and Greg made an announcement about this in a live chat some time ago...



The release date for the PS3 version in Europe is the 17th or the 20th of November of November 2009 (since games is released on Fridays in most of Europe).

I know, I saw that chat. But then in a few other forums, the release date in some regions was still the 17th because of publication issues or something to that effect.

I will FREAK out if it isn't here until the 17th, i am also in Vancouver BC Canada, i will DEMAND compensation if i have to wait another two weeks.

Ok i am also in Vancouver BC Canada, (Richmond technically), and i just called my EB and they told me it will be available this Tuesday the 3RD, i will call back again later or tomorrow to double check that they understood i meant for the PS3.

One thing you should realize about retailers (big chain retailers any way) is that they don't know and are not allowed to know any thing that hasn't been told to them by their corporate headquarters or is in the computer in front of them.

I just don't understand how a big name retailer like EB Games could be that much out of the loop to not have their computers updated.
