Well, the problem with Werewolves is that they may not exist anymore, depending on your choices in the Brecilian Forest quest.
I'd love a Male Chevalier, one that is as arrogant and pushy as Alistair was humble and well-meaning.
Definitely another Grey Warden; perhaps one from one of the other nations who resents that it was you (assuming you're still the Hero from the first game) who stopped the Blight?

I would love to see an Antivan noble, perhaps filling in as a Rogue. with the ripe air of backstabbery that seems present in Antiva (from what Zev reveals) it would be... sort of funny to have a party member [voiced by Antonio Banderas, oh yeah] that reads conspiracy into everything.
I was also a colossal Jolee Bindo fan from the original KotOR and would love to see the crotchety old man archetype brought back in spirit. They certainly did a good job of making Shale bring back fond memories of HK-47 and his undying vendetta against meatbags.
I also found Flemmeth's brand of "abomination" rather interesting, supposedly possessed, but not disfigured... I'd love to see a Mage character that sways personalities between his own and the demon's.

Mainly, I'd like to see more NPC options than in DA:O. Yet they are expensive as far as development. So I'd like an option on a fifth non-voiced companion slot-- a servant, a hireling or knight of some kind, a creature with a life-debt, a golem, an animal, a demonic summons, etc. A wealth of possibilities to RP and fill out your party, with relatively low development overhead.
I guess otherwise more exotic non-humans would be my preference, like a werewolf NPC, or a demon, or something more foreign that isn't Qunari.

morrigans baby.. as a kinda young gohan (kiddy with a tension for unlocking powers at some critical moments:p )
i would love a female barbarian/chasind warrior. dual axe waering tatoo... person
a true dwarf with a sad face due to his long experience as a legion of the dead commander, who even cant find his final rest in the deep roads.
a navarran dragon hunter.. femal/male archer skilled person. (no legolas plz) but some kind of amazon(female) or (scorpion king) kind of warrior.
sten return
morrigan return
shale retusn ( as golem)
would love that... ofc a true grey warden / templars would be cool aswell

I just want Zevran to return. Anyone else is expendable, but I put a lot of work not just into the romance, but making sure he'd stick around after the end game. After the epilogue saying how he never strayed too far from my side, I'd love a sequel with him actually around.

Yea that's what I was thinking.
A Legion of the Dead dwarf and werewolf are also good ideas.
Perhaps what they can do is make a big list of POSSIBLE companions, but no one can ever get them all. We get a companion depending on our decisions.
In addition, I have always hated the idea that it was only 4 people doing all the action, while the rest sit in camp doing nothing. Perhaps we can have, at least for a certain type of quests, the ability to make another team perform some kind of purpose. Perhaps scouting around, watching our backs, inflitrating a castle and opening the gates...etc. That can also allow us to take advantage of our companion's talents. For instance, we can send our assassin companion on an inflitration or assassination mission. Or make our bard seduce some nobleman....etc. Because as it turns out, I end up only using 3 people and not the rest.

Referencing DBZ is an automatic fail, you are hereby fined the sum of 5 internets.

Seconded.
Only the reference to Vegeta or Broly are acceptable.

Ser Cauthrien, who has been drafted into the Grey Wardens as the punishment for her earlier support of Loghain.
I'd also like Fergus, that pretty much hates the PC for letting his child and wife die. But that wouldn't be fair to the players who didn't choose human noble background, so, I guess not.
A City Elf murderer, who has been again drafted into the PC's cause because of her crimes.
A Chantry priest from Tevinter Imperium, who is a zealot that causes problems with all other companions, due to their lack of faith. Oh yes.

Yes we need more zealots. A Chantry zealot and a Blood mage in the same party.
A true leader is one who can manage to unite very different people, or kill some for the sake of allying others. So having to manage very different companions could add a new layer to morality and choice. If we are incapable of creating cohesion, then we can see party members turning against each other. Or alternatively, the leader might choose to side with one companion against the other.

Also, just thinking about it, Jowan as a man broken by alot of tortue and that has lost most of his magical skill could be an interesting party member too.

I would prefer if this takes place in orlais or antiva.
And it would be interesting if DA2 was a prequel to DAO like taking place in maybe the first blight which i assume would be the most devastating blight of all.

I'm good with all the suggestions. A griffon would totally rock, and give an opportunity for a Wynne cameo.
Who I do not want is Jowen. I despise that guy. He adds whole new meanings to the terms whiny and weak.
A Dead Legionnaire would make an awesome dwarf NPC, especially if they can tweak it so he (or she) is a kamikaze underground, but very cautious on the surface.

Someone mentioned Alistair - but what if Alistair is... no longer around after DA:O? Having him in the sequel would seem odd if he sacrificed himself to end the Blight. But there's a thought - maybe the "Origins" in DA 2 will be based on the different endings of the first part
Oh well, as long as my Dalish gets to keep Zevran in the sequel, all is well :innocent:

I'd like six people per active party, including you. Just like BG2. Only four isn't enough to really get a good party balance IMO.

I would like male mage who will yell at you when he disagree with you or when to go on a suicide mission in deep road
For guys, I would like... a warrior who just want revenge on someone, but not a girl like Isabella, much like Sten but wouldn't kill her saviors

I want very few companions so when I play that class myself it actually feels new and there's some mystery to it, instead of already leveling, equipping, and playing as the class vicariously through party NPC's like we do in DAO.

A non-comedic companion. Too many companions in DA:O fancy themselves as jesters. Fun, sure, but I'm not running a bloody circus.

1. I'd like to see your choices influence what companions you can get. In DA:O every companion just joins up without any real resistance and you can collect them all in a single play through.
Companions like demons or blood mages would be available to players who act evil or unlawful.
Chantry clerics or chevaliers might be available for good or lawful players.
2. I'd like to see the party members with different specializations from the ones the main character can pick. They kind of did this with Wynne and her Vessel of the Spirit ability.
Each companion could have a unique specialization that reflects their country of origin or personal history.
To give an example of what I'm talking about:
In the ashes quest, defiling the ashes makes Wynne and Leliana leave but you are joined by a Cultist of Andraste of your choosing. You would always get the same cultist but you could choose their base class and they would start with a generic blood/evil related specialization. They would have to make that character just as deep as Wynne or Leliana but that's the idea.
For more of a twist you could corrupt the spirit in Wynne or turn Leliana evil through torture.
I hope they also change the party size and how that works. DA:O does adjust the party at times but doesn't really follow through. They limit your party by making it smaller or requiring you take a certain character. Then at the end of the game, when everyone comes out to fight, you can still only control four people at a time.
If they do increase the number of companions you can have then I'd also like to see the standard party size bumped up to five and the game rebalanced around that.

I feel one of the reasons that BGII was so successful was bringing back the characters from BGI, even if it was for only a cameo.Seriously I think some of the companions have many more tales to tale in upcoming expansions. If they don't show up I'm still gonna buy the bloody game anyway.
