I need help with a stupid problem. Laugh at me all you want, but still can you pls give me a hand. HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO GET ATTRIBUTE POINTS??!! i've been all over the web and all it tells me about is charecter creation.
My main charecter is a lvl seven moon elf warlock, no multiclassing just warlock, and he's casting lvl 1 spells???!! is it something wrong with my disc or what?? and i'm not talking about skill points in case people get confused. i'm talking about attribute points, like strength and charisma and stuff. Anyway, pls help.
I need help

You get points every few levels to allocate to a single attribute. Nothing influences the frequency or number of points.
(And no, if your disc was causing any sort of trouble, character stats would be the least of them).

I've only played a warlock once, so I could be wrong, but a lvl. 7 warlock should have lvl. 2 invocations. For that he would need Charisma =12 at least, since his casting is CHA-based. Does he?
Also, you should have been able to increase a single attribute by 1 at level 4. You get one increase every 4 levels.

No, that's not necessary for warlocks, they can cast even with negative CHA.woofgirl wrote...

A L7 warlock knows 3 least and 1 lesser invocation. Check the progression here: http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Warlock

A suggestion. How about you edit the topic of this thread to - My Warlock cannot cast - which might actually be useful to other people who play Warlocks rather than the completely meaningless "I need help".

Warlocks get an invocation called "The Dead Walk", which summons an undead creature. Not too shabby either, least at the lower levels.

It's still useful at the time you get it, as it provides you with infinite fodder and a way to distract enemies while you blast them. But there are other good invocations, so you may not always have room for it. I'd definitely take Eldritch Chain and Flee the Scene as two of my lesser invocations. I usually pick my third between The Dead Walk or Walk Unseen, depending on what module/PW I'm playing.
