When you finally have ME3 on your hands, install it to the hard drive before starting it up. (If it's two disks, install both disks.)
I know many of you plan to do that already, but those who don't, you very much should. Make no mistake: ME3 is going to be a big game, and running it straight off the disk may not be a good idea especially if you're going to be playing it for hours on end. By installing the game to your HDD you will save yourself the trouble of having to deal with potential annoyances such as extended loading times, occasional cutscene lag, and even sudden disk read errors. More importantly, your 360 will be much more comfortable running the game for hours thanks to the disk not spinning (which, in turn, contributes to minimizing the chances of potential failure on both the console's end and the game disk's end).
Once again, I am probably playing Captain Obvious here, but I also realize that there are some of you who may not exactly be fully aware of just how much trouble HDD installation can save you, so this is more directed at them. It's also a friendly reminder for those who do know that. Assuming ME3 comes in two disks, you'll need anywhere between 13 to 15 GB of free HDD space to install it, since the average disk size is about 6.8 GB for AAA games these days.
That is all. Happy hunting!
Wear and tear and noise-reduction is the most obvious and legitimate reason to install all your games, at least if you run them for hours on end. In any case you'll still need to use the discs to run the game, regardless of if you install the game to the harddrive or not.
In short: Captain Obvious to the rescue..
