Hammerhead for life.

Yeah, I said it. Someone had to.

I like both vehicles though. Just prefer the Hammerhead. I'll take speed and having to stay on my toes like crazy because I've got paper-thin shielding over slow sturdiness when it comes to vehicles. Been maining the A-Wing in those old X-Wing/TIE Fighter games for a long time.

I would be fine with the Hammerhead of the darn thing could take a shot.I wonder if itll pop up in ME3 as well....Would be funny to see it take shot for the Mako and come out unharmed.

Yep, that was the only reason I didn't like it.

It's best they cut all the vehicle parts off. They suck anyhows. I was so happy in Crysis 2 that I could just stealth past all the vehicle parts!

Those were just there for cover and atmosphere.

Please for the love of god do not bring that awful thing back. Unless, of course, you've made it fun.

If it done in small dosages, I can deal with it, but if I wanted to drive a vehicle in a video game I'd play a racing game.

Small doses of nightmare... You know how horrible it was for me? I actualy jumped out of Mako and took my side arm and went to fight the enemies like that!

That thing can't shoot straight (I know it's realistic that you can't when your vehicle is bumbing up and down), it's so annoying, not to mention how easily it breaks down, flips over... Nightmare!

Yeah, sorry man, but I guess too many people complained about not liking the controls.  Games that play themselves are the future, haven't you heard?  Cinematic!

I hate to break this to you, but he was responding to the OP, not to you.

Oh there you are!  I was wondering who to thank for encouraging EAware to turn Mass Effect into a  cinematic corridor shooter/dating sim.  They have these really great things for people who are rubbish at video gameplay, but still want the story - they're called "movies".  Thought you might be interested.

**someone tells me they've added a 'story' mode to ME3**

Oh.  I see. Looks like you all got your wish.  Again.  Nevermind then, carry on.

Ah, you're right, thank you.  For a moment there I was deluded enough to think someone on these boards had good taste.  What a fool I am.

Yeah, no.  I'm not going to let you all encourage the removal of more features from games because you're not good at them without calling you on it.

I'd actually prefer the Hammerhead for exploration (no more failing to climb 89 degree inclines), but the not-made-of-paper Mako for combat. Though really, at this point I'll take any vehicle action that isn't horrible or confined to one sequence in a side mission (and four mostly-meh mini-missions in the Hammerhead's case).

Urghh... I'm sorry but I rather walk than drive and have someone else drive for me. You may like it and that's cool, but I don't care for it.

If only it would shoot straight to where you are aiming...

The mako handled fine for a mass-effect field generating vehicle on low-gravity worlds.  Yes, it got a little wonky at times, but nothing that was game-breaking.  If you zoomed in or used the reticle, it shot fine as well.  Basically, the mako was fun, or at least bearable, unless you absolutely suck at games.

Your statement of "oh, keep your racing games out of my action movie" was the kind of asinine drivel that gives us safe, predictable, boring games.  And you are being a patronizing twit.

If you want to tell me why having interesting features in games is a bad thing, we can debate, but if you're going to call any disagreement a hissy fit or temper tantrum, then I guess we're done here.

This is something entirely subjective and based on your experience. Now maybe you played on the Xbox 360 version, but I've always been able to aim perfectly well with the Mako.

First, there were clearly marked paths on most of the worlds in ME1, you ending up climbing inclines at 89 degrees was an inconvenience you caused upon yourself.

Secondly I actually prefer the Mako for exploration, Hammerhead is more of a recon craft than a true exploration vehicle. The Hammerhead is not really an all terrain vehicle, for example if you hit an ever so small bumb with the Hammerhead, the vehicle will crash and stop completely.

Your opinion on the mako is not the only one. The assertion that people only disliked it because they were bad at it and calling them stupid is asinine. The moment you stop parading around like a paragon of good taste, is the moment I take anything you say seriously.

Not if it was in wonky angle. I'm not talking about putting reticule on character, that works just fine on Xbox360, I'm talking about the car being in a bit diffirent angle and the canon doesn't go down enough. So it shoots the bullet to different direction.

I don't know if they fixed this for PC version. But it was GODDAMN annoying and just reeks bad design. I would have appriciated if the game would somehow tell me when the canon isn't aligned, because when I zoom in, I can't see the damn car and I do HAVE TO dodge the incomming enemy fire.

It was a huge problem and when I play games, I expect smooth controls, which Mako in this regard didn't deliver. It was crap.

Irony, I prefer the TIE Bomber and Y-Wings.  Although, I wish I had the mod for the third Experimental TIE, the TIE Interceptor with Warhead Launchers attached to it.  chyeah..

So, you're argument for the removal of a feature you don't like is.........that you (and some other people, apparently) don't like it.  Compelling.
