Lots of people Shep's pushed down, so there's probably reason to suspect one as much as another.

EDIT: Well, no reason other than some observant people noticed its symbol is the one for Cerberus, but other than that, there's no reason to suspect one more than another.

I believe there is another achievement to defeat an assassin or something like that. I assume that one is for Kai Leng.

My money's on Kai as well, what with the Cerberus logo... or TIM. All depends on how you define 'old adversary' as Shepard has yet to meet Kai Leng.

The symbol is a jolly roger (Skull + Crossbones), according to http://www.xbox360ac...3/achievements/

It could be anyone, but my money is on either TIM or Harbinger.

I'm sorry, I take it back. The image for the Executioner achievement is actually not the Cerberus logo, the one below it is.

My bet is no longer locked on Kai. The skull image doesn't really indicate anything for me.

It could be Kai, it could be TIM, it could be Conrad Verner or Al'Jilani for all I know. If rumors and leaks are to be believed, it could be a former squadmate.

Either TIM, Udina or Harbinger. I don't think it's Kai because his not really an old adversary. It also can't be someone like Zaeed since he can be killed in ME2.
