Remember back in November, when the first glimpses of the Demo, both leaked and official went out?
In the Sur'Kesh zone, Shepard at one point picks up the Sentry Visor from a bench at the beginning of the level.

This (could) give way to four potential outcomes in the real demo/game:

1. The ME2 Dr. Pepper items (Sentry Visor, Recon Hood, Umbra Visor) can be obtained by everyone for ME3 by finding them scattered in the Demo

2. Armour pieces can now only (?) be found out in the field, like weaponry in ME2

3. It was just there to make a point, and neither mechanic will be in ME3

4. Items found are unlocked for the Multiplayer portion (idea by TexasToast712)

Am I the only one who would welcome 1? For people who already have them, they'll be carried over (like, i'm assuming, the Inferno Armour and Co.); and for people who didn't get the chance? They get to try them in ME3, through a free method.

Any thoughts are welcome, and remember this is pure speculation. If this does/doesn't happen, feel free to blame me for raising your hopes too high!
Official responses would also be recieved with gratitude.

My guess? Armor/weapons for multiplayer.

Also a possibility. I'll update the OP with that, and credit you.

I think 1 would be amazing, I didn't get ME2 until long after the promotion, so I'd love to try out the gear.
