Greetings,

I usually use IE 8 while browsing this site and when I signed in today (as I have to sign-in everyday), I experienced a number of problems navigating the site.

When I go to one of my groups, and try to click on ‘discussion’ nothing happens. In fact, none of the tabs work.

When I click on a link on the ‘Group Details’ tab, and hit ‘quote’ to respond to a discussion, nothing happens.

I can no longer edit my posts in group discussions.

I'm not having any of these problems with the BioWare forums, just the Groups.

The 'update' button on my profile no longer works. Every page now has and 'Error on page.'

I’ve tried restarting the browser, restarting the PC, and clearing my cache. The site still works in Foxfire and Google Chrome, and the last time I logged in (last night) I didn’t experience any problems.

I'm having similar problems, with IE8 as well. I first noticed it when I tried to update my profile photo; nothing happened when I tried to select my new portrait. A number of other links (such as the ones on the Site FAQ, where I tried to look up the problem) also aren't working. It's as though certain links in the profile and groups area just aren't active. The forums seem to be fine, though.

EDIT: Had the same problem with Safari, but Firefox worked fine.

I'm having the same problem with safari as well

but it's only recently. It's always been a little awkward at times when it tries to use this site, but now it won't let me navigate the tabs.

So what we have here is confirmation that a great many people are having the same problem. For every one who notices it there are hundreds that do not, and for every one that mentions it there are hundreds who notice it.

15 hours and no official response, I suppose all we can do is wait and wish EA had better technical support.

1) EA technical support is not going to be able to fix this.

2) BioWare is not prohibited, legally or otherwise, from working on bugs without first responding to any and all reports on the issue.

Ah so it's not an EA issue, but a BioWare issue.

Wow Google Chrome fixes it somehow? Curious, but I may as well give it a shot.

So long as I can uninstall it afterward I may as well, however it is disappointing that the site is made to be incompatible with IE8.

Yeah, everything was fine until yesterday or the day before in IE, but it's still currently fine in Firefox.

All I can say is, hopefully it's fixed with IE8, that's my new browser of choice thanks to Win7, and I don't intend on switching to Firefox or anything else, I can install FF on the RC I'm still running for now, but once I go retail 7, I don't intend to put it on my system..so hopefully, they get to work on that, I'd hate to not be able to use the site, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

This is a problem with java. IE has always had problems with java somehow. Remember, this is still a website under develop, and this problem will be fixed soon, or as I hope. Use Firefox or Google chrome instead.

(If you check your bottom left corner in IE, there will be a yellow symbol with error messages. Here you can get information about the problem. If you are interested, seek up the problem at google or some searchengane.)

As all users above, since yesterday site isn't working anymore ... all "tabs" are unavailable. Errormessage (in Dutch) following below, but it seems like it can't find / execute some .js files on the server.

Ah well, hope it gets fixed soon.

With such a wide spread problem I hope BioWare is taking notice.
