IE8, same issues - started yesterday I think, or maybe the day before.

EDIT
Also now none of the side bar menu items work. As soon as I mouse over to one of the drop down items - the menu list disappears.

The goggle chrome thing now working makes me wonder if that is why IE no longer works - as before people using Chrome had similar issues. So it sounds that they fixed the issue for Chrome but broke it for IE.

I want to add, just because nobody else has remarked upon it, that there was a whole day before this happened that all the flyouts were positioned correctly. Whatever broke broke after the flyouts were fixed.

Same here.  Is anyone else having problems accepting friend requests and joining groups?  It seems as if i am limited to posting only at the moment.

Hey All,

When I login to the main screen, I see my pic with " update " higlighted below it like always, but it doesn't do anything now. Before I was able to type a little message if I wanted but now I'm stuck having it say Logged On. Then to make it worse I can't access the tabs below my pic, they highlight and they open the sub menus but they disappear too fast when I move to select something.

The only way I can get it to work now is by holding down the right mouse button then moving on to the sub-menu, this is not the way it worked before??? Another thing I notice now is that the page loads, and looks normal but now the bottom left coner shows error on page with Icon. Also when I scroll over the highlighted " Update " it says javascript : void(0) ; down in that bottom left corner then.

Any idea what that is about ??? Going to check and see if that ( Java ) has an update but I doubt it.

If anyone has any ideas please let us know, Thanks....

Cheers! Wil SilverHeart

P.S. This just started for me as well so something got messed up on the sites side, so to say that it may not be fixed or somehow there is no responsibilty is a crock. It worked for me flawlessly up to about 2+ days ago, and I use IE 7. None of my other regularly visited sites DO NOT have this bug so YES , I feel it is BSN's responsibility to fix it. I for one don't feel I should have to go out searching for a different browser JUST so I can take part in this forum.

I checked my auto updates and Java. There was nothing for Java as I figured, but there was a few updates in auto one being for msxl 4.0 SP2 but it did nothing to fix this issue.

Well, in closing I would just like to say that I know this site in in Beta so I have to take the good with the bad but I hope the site designers or whom ever, deals with these problems as soon as those of us in the BSN community brings them to youe attention, seems to be the right thing to do, because blowing these things off will only cause grief in the future. Namely future support for games and other products.

Cheers! Wil SilverHeart

@Wil: JavaScript, for which there is unfortunately no standard interpreter (that's why it works in Chrome and Firefox but not IE and Safari), has nothing to do with Java. BioWare also hasn't even implied they might not attempt to solve this problem, whether or not they are directly responsible. It has only been a day, however, and they can't slave away 24/7.

[Edit]
Oh, hey, it's fixed. \\o/

What do you know, seems so! No sooner than I posted this, it's fixed for me too.

The pop up menus at the left (My Content, etc.) disappear when I try to move the mouse over them too. Buttons such as 'Join Group' and 'Send Message' don't work.

When I sign in, I can see my profile. Then I select Forum and click "Your posts", message: You can not enter restricted area" appears and I have to log on again. And every time I want to do something with my profile, I have to log in again. I use IE8. Did not have this prob. until yesterday. I say: Problem not fixed!

Ran windows update, updated my Java. I still can't click on the tabs on any individual project ("Files", "Comments", "Discussions" etc...) This is very irritating!

Using IE8 and had the same issues. Lowering the security level under Tools>Internet Options>Security to medium worked for me.
