Holy Moly! one would have to believe that the testers aren't getting paid at all, or the folks who are responsible for this poorly slapped together "Social Network" are clueless it's one or the other that's for sure.
Why bother incorporating something into a product when you can't get it to work properly.
Broken or Hobbled functions on the Site (Search for instance)
Profiles won't update properly (Story, Stats, Etc)
List goes on and on.
<Sigh>

- too fast dissapearing submenus to the sidemenu
- not appearing submenus on topmenu (and I'd like to check if there's a patch yet ...)
- tabs don't do anything
... ever done any backtesting? ;-)

Folks, be nice. It's possible to give constructive feedback without being a git.
The people here are being nice. No one has said BioWare is stupid. No one has been belligerent or hostile.
Given that this is the exact same problem they had 12 days ago and fixed, I'd think they'd be a bit more cautious about repeating this error. I'd also think that they'd spend some time testing site builds with IE, which the majority of internet users choose to browse with.

Really? I guess we must be content then to have differing definitions of the word "nice." I hope we don't transition to "rude" at any point.Maria Caliban wrote...

- so much for the so called Social Network Fix.

If anyone knows of a way to test a website in every browser automatically every time we deploy any code changes, I would love to hear about it.
Also, IE (all versions) makes up only 30% of visitors to this site. While that is a lot and we don't want to have things broken for them, the other 70% of our visitors are using browsers that thought that code was just fine.

The issue was with a single extra "," at the end of a list of items, which IE interpreted as "OMG STOP PROCESSING ALL JAVASCRIPT".

Since it's been identified, can we expect a fix soon? Because if it is supposed to wokring currently, I regret to inform you that it isn't.

It is working currently for us - have you tried clearing your browser cache?
