I know this game has an insane amount of dialogue and a pedigree of long varied conversation, but that doesnt factor into whatever logical conclusions i make.

Indeed. This was a choice, not standard dialogue. Also, be honest, when was the last ime you used a neutral option.G3rman wrote...
They are only showing major scenes where its one extreme over the other.

Since you guys insist this isn't regular dialogue, I'll let you find out for yourselves this Tuesday. Gonna be nice saying I told you so, and I can't wait to hear what the new excuse may be.

Fair enough. So long as you say, "you guys were right" if you're wrong. We can't wait to hear what your new excuse will be.

Gonna be nice when you stop putting a signature on every post outside the signature box too, not that it will happen.

They released 5 videos today and all were 1-2 minutes long. It's not as if they gave any less time to the "Choices" video, than they did any other video.

No you cant be neutral forever...but if there are only paragon or renegade options then you might as well pick an alignment in the start menu and let the game respond for you. Oh thats right, thats what "action" mode is for.G3rman wrote...

I too hope there are still plenty of neutral options. My canon Shep is not a big fan of paragons or renegades.
I'm not a fan of neutral players either because its impossible in major situations to not choose a side, whether it be paragon renegade or neither. You can't select the middle option forever.

Oh hello troll, didn't expect you coming here.
Considering this is the first I mentioned it, I wouldn't consider it harping, also I can see his name just fine above his avatar so what he does is unnecessary. Using signature box for a signature is kind of self-explanatory.
Now why don't you make comments on the thread topic like a normal forumite.

Demo isn't exactly the most eye opening either, its just two small missions in the game.
You misunderstand the concept of the demo. The demo serves to give the consumer an indicator of what's to come in the main game. If the demo only features two option dialogue scenes throughout the entire two missions, what does that say about the main game?

I'm fully aware of the purpose of a demo dude. The point is that you are overreacting to what you expect dialogue to be from just what little we have seen of dialogue. I also fail to see the major impact of having only two dialogue choices for MAJOR decisions as its impossible to choose neutral in previous games anyway.

You keep talking about major decisions, what part of two options for regular dialogue do you not understand? Nobody is talking about decisions. For major decisions that's understandable, for conversation it's ridiculous. We're talking about conversation. Look at the beta, and cross reference it with the demo on Tuesday. I doubt the dialogue will be any different, it will still have only two options.

Beta was beta, demo is demo. You jump to conclusions, game is in different state now.
I hope this makes the sentiment clear.

Kinda like the whole Save/Kill Rachni and Investigate, etc. If there's room to investigate i'm sure there will be, if not, it'll be pretty straightforward I would imagine.
Honestly though, I'm not too worried, If they have as much recorded dialogue (if not more) as ME2, then i'll be more than content regardless.
