I've gottten acquainted with Dragon Age: Origins not so long ago but quickly became fascinated with it. Like any other enrapt player I want to make the game better and bug-free. I know there are many mods that fixe different kinds of bugs but most of them if not all are abandoned and long-outdated. That gave me an idea to try and fix whatever little I can myself.

After many hours of confused staring into toolset without any inkling of what the hell is that I came upon an understanding of some basics. So I skimmed through so resources to get the feel of things that can be done and found that even all those numbers of fix mods don't fix everything. On the contrary they tend ti fix some obscure and hardly reachable issues while ignoring more easily accessable ones.

So I decided to fix stuff myself. At least the ones I usually encounter along my playthroughs. Easier sad than done. Apparently I lack knowledge to fix some stuff I'd really like to be fixed. None of the tutorials, guides or articles I came upon were dedicated to modifying existing resources. So here I am.

As probably all of you know there is an issue, at least on PC version, where in the very first dialogue with Alistair none of the approval changes are registered. That issue is well known, very fixable, and fixed most possily by every other fix mod. Less known fact is that there is similar problem with first dialogue for Morrigan, Sten, Wynne, Zevran, Oghren. Morrigan's being the best example as you can get at least -21 approval with her. Now as I said before fixing Alistair is easy, he's going to join you after the dialogue no matter what you say and is not going to leave you untill after the Landsmeet, so you can just move recruiment flag higher on the dialogue tree and voila. The same trick doesn't work with the rest of companions.

So here is the question. Does anyone know why approval is being changed only for recruited characters and more importantly how to change it?
Alternatively. Is there a way to store all approval changes made before you recruited a character and fire them once they are recruited?
