Miranda is my favourite squadmate and, to me, the best by far  !!! But I agree. I do love Legion but he didn't get enough screentime in ME2

In ME2, Miranda is the most versatile support character. She has warp and overload (can take down every defense), and her passive is great for the classes that focuses in weapons (soldier, infiltrator and vanguard).

She and a random squadmate can be useful in any mission.


As for ME1, any biotic is good compared to the rest of the squad. Sometimes the AI keept the squaddies firing at a wall.

I'd say Miranda. Having Warp+Overload lets her strip down every type of defense, plus her passive is squad-wide (I don't think anyone else has one like it). Since I play as a Sentinel, I can strip the defenses as well, but having Miranda around helps, especially against the stronger enemies (YMIR mechs, Harbinger, Scions, etc). My usual squad lineup consists of Miranda and Garrus, though I'll swap Garrus for someone else if the situation and combat scenarios call for it. I always have Miranda by my side, both because she's incredibly useful in combat, and because she's my overall favorite character.

Miranda. her powers work in all situations even on Insanity and her passive makes everyone better, the only squadmate who's passive effects other squadmates.
