Just posting here to give out my support for FemShep. I remember when Mass Effect came out, and I didn't even know you could be a female. What an amazing surprise that has turned out to be! Now female Shepard has become one of my favorite video game characters.

I do too actually. It sounded more sarcastic when Meer says it.

Yeah, a little more cynical, where Hale delivers it more straightforward.  Nothing wrong with her approach at all, don't get me wrong!  Just in a few instances, I like Meer's performance.

But anyway, femShep!  I also like the other line when talking to Harkin in ME1 - "Call me princess again and you'll be picking your teeth up off the floor."

DITTO. Mordin's responce was dam near perfect as well. Its one of those lines thats come close to breaking the 4th wall but gets away with it any how.

To answer one of the previous questions, I have always seen my FemShep as a Spacer, Sole Survivor, Infiltrator, Paragon.

There are a number of reasons for this but chief among them is that I can almost see how wrong the mission on Akuse(sp?) went. I see my shepherd hanging back towards the LZ with her spotter the rest of the unit out in front investigating what appeared to be a sensor beacon. And then ... IT happened. within moments 90% of the unit is gone and the thresher maw is closing in. Naturally she kills it and falls on top of her spotter killing him instantly. and then there is that profound silence as the sense of loss and realization that her entire unit many of whom she had been with since the N7 Academy where Dead. Gone. Never to return. And then two more thresher maws show up and Shep thinks screw this I'm calling in a orbital bombardment.

Wow ... talk about impromptu fan fiction that was far longer than I thought was going to be but that's the main reason I like My FemShep. The character has a life of its own in my mind. And therefor it is very easy to think about what She would think while I play Mass Effect.

I have a lot of FemSheps planned out (around 30 Sheps overall, and I guess half of them would be FemSheps), probably at least one for every possible background combo. My MainShep is a Colonist/War Hero named Kim, a Sentinel with assault armor and a shotgun who likes to act like a Vanguard. I don't even know her Paragon/Renegade score anymore. Her morality doesn't fit into one system - it's a combination of both, with some crazy thrown in for good measure.

I'm not sure which line is my favorite. Too many good choices. But it's definitely something Renegade.

Is it weird that I'm really looking forward to seeing femShep's hair? LOL, we caught a brief glimpse of it in the Voice Cast trailer and it looked great, I can't wait to see it in all its glory.

I'm waiting to see FemShep's hairstyle choices more than anything else in the demo. So no, I don't think it's weird.

Luciana Shepard is my cannon shep, I named her partly after my youngest sister Lucy. She is Earthborn, ran with the Reds in her adolecent years but decided to straighten up after a close friend in the gang was gunned down in a red sand deal gone bad. Wanting to leave earth behind she enlisted with the alliance & volunteered for the expedition to Akkuze. She was once again forced to bare the pain of watching fellow comrades die in front of her as the thresher maws obliterated their outpost, she quickly rose through the ranks & became part of the elite N7. She strongly belives humanities future is out in space & developing a positive relationship with the various other spacefaring species is key. 

 She is a Vanguard.

Conrad's reaction kills me every time I shoot him.

"I don't want something closer to home. I want you. I want someone I can trust." Finally Femshep says something nice and sensitive to Garrus during the romance<3

Also the "speech" she gave to Harbinger in Arrival. Hellz yea Femshep! So much emotion.God bless Jennifer Hale.

I tend to give them looks that match name/ethnicity/background I've chosen in a RP sense. Svetlana is blond and sharp-featured and comes from Eastern Europe. Kenya is African-American and grew up on the streets of New York.
