When it comes to the actual trailer itself, the one aspect I don't like is the "Rude Awakening" music at the beginning. I think it takes away from Shepard being presented. It would have been better if it was just the beats.

In regards to your comment about children viewing the content - I would be much more worried about my children seeing a scene where a woman abuses her authority over a man and uses her gender as an excuse to pummel him without consequence. I don't want my sons to grow up being the punching bag of any woman, and I don't want my daughters to think that sort of behavior is acceptable. What I want to see is a fair, friendly fight between two consenting adults.

I'm not saying that Vega stands there and gets his ass whupped. I'm saying he fights her, but she is too good a combatant for him, effectively evading all his strikes and takes him down without her getting hit.

Shepard still looks like the badass she's supposed to be, Vega is seen as competitively sparring with her, but there is no instance of a woman getting hit in the face by a man twice her size.

That would be funny, OK, and kinda cool, but it somewhat discredits Shepard's reputation of being the hero we/Bioware have built him up to be over the last two games.
Don't forget, this guy went toe-to-toe with a Yahg (2x his/her size) in hand-to-hand combat. I kinda doubt that every Alliance Marine could do this effectively and, if Vega can, almost makes Shep look "weak" by comparison.

She dont look all that dissimilar to my shep actually. Mine is long brown hair, but with brown eyes. I created her with a look of ''I've been through fkn hell, and i survived" stern but determined look in her eyes.

Also slowing that video down to 0.25 speed, i noticed when she spoke to the council, all 3 original council members are present, plus Udina (not my choice personally).

Soooo... I like her, and I love that she got a trailer.

But can we edit the default or is it going to be like Sheploo and both Hawkes, where whatever's on the default can't be otherwise used? She has a bit of a... monkey mouth/jaw, when seeing her from the side. Plus her lips are way too, um, vibrant? I don't like it. But I want those freckles and that hair!

I noticed the ME2 squadmates that showed up in the trailer looked exactly the same as they did in ME2 (Miranda and Jacob still rockin' their Cerberus threads).

Is this merely a placeholder for the time being or will this be the way they are presented?

Looking at the artwork and the cover, I might have swapped the FemShep look I have for this voted by the community (options I chose by the way).

However after seeing this trailer, I think she looks terrible and very different to previous images. I admit to sucking at making faces in games, SWTOR's method is perfect to me, but think I can make better ones than in the trailer. Everything else is awesome, just the face.

Oh all the damned armors they could have put on Lawson and Jacob they choose to go with their default ones. Yeah thanks for the effort there Bioware. At least Samara was in her loyalty armor.

Good trailer though overall.
