That's what I thought to until it appeared as if the "interface" on the weapon displayed Reaper specs until Shep (or someone else) finally hit it with some big laser/explosion.

Honestly the only thing I wished they would had added was a FemShep doing the Omni-Blade signature at the end of the trailer. I'm a big fan of that, alas besides that great to see the trailer come out.
And it's cool Jennifer Hale can have her own moment, well deserved.

That was IMHO the BEST Mass Effect 3 trailer to date! I would say that even if FemShep wasn't in it, the fact that it is the icing on the cake.

Nope it's that greenish looking assault rifle we've seen in ME3 screenies (at least I think it is)

Looks really good. I dont play Female Shepard my self but this tralier awesome. Also this tralier showed Jacob and Miranda, hopefully this means that more characters from Mass Effect 2 get more screen time in 3.

That and also two other things (IMO):
1. Bringing characters looking exactly as they were in the prequel is... lazy and shows lack of attention to detail. However, details of ME3 have drawn plenty of attention from me, so I'm nothing but optimistic in that regard.
2. It may sound superficial, but a character coming back changed shows he/she's evolved in some amount or way (for ex, a Jack with some hair and some clothes on - as they said she was - equals a bit more maturity to me).
Anyway, I would agree (and would hope) that they've used placeholders for this trailer.
