Damn, Miranda and Jabob still have Cerberus Armor. Placeholder, or still ****ing with Cerb? Hopefully not. ^^
Actually a pause on Jacob's shot seems to indicate that the Cerberus logos are gone from his collar.

My two critiques on FemShep specifically, however, are: 1) Where is her face testures? She looks unreal versus Shepard's little scars and forehead/brow/mouth lines and undereye darkness and altogether grizzled Commander look. FemShep by comparison, like has been pointed out during the promo posters, has none of those trademark grizzled veteran Commander looks. I rather FemShep look hardened and wary, not airbrushed and caked on with makeup to hide lines humans normally do have, the kind that MaleShep does have.
Thanks again for the effort, kudos.

Ugh... fine. Though that only exists in the field (read: conducting snoop&poop operations) when trying to blend in, not while strutting around in dress uniform or on ships (like Mass Effect). I find that point to be a nit-pick, but I guess I led myself into that one by making a blanket statement.

Ok I'm sorry, but I had no issues making a FemShep I liked in the CC.

I'm in agreement with Ademska. No true soldier would wear that much makeup, especially on the field of battle.
Then again, we all know that the REAL Shepard is a dude

Ok, I'm sure someone's mentioned this but I'm not going to read thru all 28 pages to see if that's true.
That said, I LOVE this trailer. Absolutely epic. The part I keep going back to that has me in awe is when Shep crawls out of what looks like a car window and fires her pistol back at who I assume is Kai Leng. The animation there, and her facial expressions were AWESOME.
Mind=blown
Now I can't wait for the demo, and March 6th. If I hadn't already preordered, I'd be yelling at Bioware to TAKE MY MONEY!!!

As to a lot of the complaints:
Textures - Seems a lot of people are judging the textures based on heavy light/bloom scenes. Even the one with Ash/Vega, Shep is the only one standing in the light while they're standing back in the shadows somewhat. The fact is you can't see textures in heavy bloom areas on pale skin. If you look at the low light pics of her you see a lot more detail, but not on par with sheploo because she doesn't have facial hair. Also her face is in constant motion throughout the trailer and is hardly ever at a standstill, so it's hard to judge the detail of the freckles etc save for 00:16. There you can see the details seem to be diffused, bumped and normal mapped in fairly high detail until she moves her head up to look at Anderson's hologram in full screen. If you watch the trailer in large player it blurs to a lesser extent and in the normal size player the detail doesn't blur at all when she moves.
Makeup - Really? The only makeup she has is some dark desaturated lipstick and somewhat heavy eyeliner. Actually the eyeliner is less than I thought I saw in the quick snapshots of Femshep from voice cast trailer. Not exactly barbie and she doesn't even have any blush. The fact is if she didn't have makeup those who have problems with her textures would have bigger problems because the bloom would take out any contrast in her face. I think it would be overdone if she had light purple eyeliner, bright pink lipstick and rouge blush, but she doesn't. Like those who want more makeup critics who want less of it (who are a minority based on the majority of custom femshep screens) are going to have to make a custom Femshep.
Cutism/Accuracy - Again I was surprised they got her as accurate as they did to the concept art. We couldn't judge all the porportions of her face during voting since the concept was a one angled 2D image. When we see Femshep from a similar angle and facial expression as in the concept art (00:48, 01:00 being best while shooting at Kai Leng and 01:09), the ingame version is almost exactly the same. Only when we see her from an angle from below her jaw line, from above her head and/or with a facial expression, does she seem more butch or cuter depending on the combination.

Pause. I was reading some of the reactions in this thread and what the f*ck? You guys b!tch and moan for years crying for a FemShep trailer. "OMG make a Femshep one!" "To it to be fair!" cry cry cry. And then Bioware listens and they not only make a FemShep trailer they let the fans vote on how she looks. And then you get what you want and a lot of you keep b!tching.
"Why does she have so much make up?"
"No real soldier wares that much make up!"
"You can't be a strong woman and have on make up!"
Why does she have to be bare faced? Why can't femshep be hot? There are lots of smoking hot women who are in the military. You guys need to...
considering i'm the most vocal person in this thread right now, i assume you're talking about me.
i also assume you can't or won't read, since i've stated a few times now that all my sheps wear makeup, as do i personally. i don't have a problem with makeup, i have a problem with this much makeup.
AND NO, real soldiers are not allowed to wear as much makeup as shep is here. makeup is permitted within strict, natural guidelines, and this exceeds them; ask any irl soldier. shepard is a spectre and is not required to conform to those standards, of course, but it still looks ridiculous and is ridiculously time-consuming.
i want shep to be hot, but she doesn't look hot here, she just looks like a cartoon. she looks like she stepped out of bioshock: infinite.
that is a problem.

Am I the only one slightly irked by this? lol.
Maybe I am but, Tali looks exactly the same, so does Legion/Samara wearing an alternate outfit, Jacob and Miranda just had the Cerberus logo removed.
Usually characters get a slight redesign from game to game, at the very least.
I'm obviously just nitpicking, forgive me, but it would've been nice for BioWare to at least give Miranda a coat on top of the jumpsuit this time around or something.
Anyway, FemShep looks good. Not a fan of the extreme paleness or super dark lipstick, but she doesn't look bad, I like.
