My femsheps still look better than her, just saying...
No she doesn't.
Good for you, but so far I've haven't seen a single mature AND pretty custom femShep, it's just totally impossible with the Mass Effect custom face creator. Most femSheps are either just plain ugly, or look like a 16 years old barbie doll.
The new default femShep looks like Joanna Dark. As an oldschool gamer with a great amount og nostalgia towards the Nintendo 64 and all it's glorious games (including Perfect Dark), I totally dig that. Reminds me of the good old days.
I'm totally gonna start a new femShep character in ME3 and name her Joanna Shepard.
Ok I'm sorry, but I had no issues making a FemShep I liked in the CC.
Yeah, it's much harder to make a good looking manshep. All of my femsheps have come out pretty. (the mouth is the hardest part to get right, they usually have a bit of an overbite. But oh well.....)
That's why I use good ol' fashioned Sheploo face on most of my Shepards. ;-)
I still think Sheploo is the best looking Shepard, but I've seen some pretty epic custom manSheps too. But me personally? I totally suck balls at the ME custom face editor.

My import from ME1 & 2 may look awesome but I still hope we can tweak (Makeup) without having to start from scratch.

What did you think of it?
Adored it. Absolutely ADORED it.
I didn't think it was possible to be MORE excited for ME3 than I already was.
You proved me wrong.

Meh....
how shocking
What? Must I jump like a gigity schoolgirl and salivate like a sick dog?
Nutting special about the trailer. Overblown... If femshep wasn't in it, it wouldn't have gotten even a fraction of the attention.

It's funny how a simple line can be so powerful when delivered correctly, I was going to put it in my sig, but it's just not the same as hearing Hale speak it, I'm definitely importing my FemShep for the first play through.Zu Long wrote...
"Tell your friends: we're coming for them." I totally marked out when she said that. Love the look, may have to switch to it after my canon run.

Or rather a more intelligent response like why you consider it "meh"?Lotion Soronnar wrote...

Only if you choose it.NICKjnp wrote...
But don't forget...she will have the "we fight or we die" line as well.
At any rate, as long as the rest of her lines have fewer derps and are corny in this way (end of ME1/2 cheesiness), I'm fine.

She puts just the right amount of ****iness into it that it doesn't matter that the line itself is cheesy. After all, if I was taunting a bunch of mecha-cthulus, I'd be pulling out cheesy pop culture references left and right.

Is this really the same face as in the trailer? For me Femshep looks much better on the In-Demo screens than in the trailer. It seems to me her chin is smaller in-demo. StrangeDayusMakhina wrote...
That image alone looks a whole lot more detailed than what we see in the trailer, which is quite understandable considering that's a still image there.mranderson25 wrote...

I'm on the fence with FemShep's appearance, in some cases it looks really good, in others it looks somewhat odd. i'll attribute that to lighting and the like so shall judge FemShep on tuesday when i'm playing her in the demo.

This trailer was awesome, and it would have been great even if it hadn't featured FemShep. That's what makes it so special, though. BioWare often says they listen to their fans closely, and if you weren't already convinced you just have to look at this trailer to believe it.
People are going to squabble over the details (why is it always the female characters' appearances that gets criticized so much? And in such a bipolar manner, too re:"TOO SEXY"/"NOT SEXY ENOUGH"), but I guess it's because they care so much. It seems the "immersion threshold" can be pretty variable between individuals, hahaha. To those people obsessed with these details, I'd probably prescribe a chill pill and recommend using the character creation system, but that's just me.
Anyway, FemShep is strong and beautiful, the trailer is exciting and well executed, and haters are always ever inclined to hate.
Thanks for listening to your fans, BioWare. Good job.
