This maleShep vs femShep horse has been beaten to the point that it is literally no more. You can't even make good glue w/ it any more. It's personal preference and to argue personal preference is an exercise in pointless futility. You might as well bang you head against a wall for a few hours. Same difference, really. As for the sexist remarks, troll or no, it's a free internets. You have the right to be offended by anything people say. You also have the right to laugh at stupid people who make sexist remarks.

And I liked the trailer a lot.

I honestly took the trailer more for showing more about ME 2 characters not returning, and the action.  I didn't care that Femshep was there, she was just a place holder.

I finally bothered to watch it. First, Hale sounds tolerable now. Second, she looks like a new bimbo doll because they needed to make the new ****** model prettier. Third, I was happy to see Miranda and Jacob still loyal to Shepard, and happy to see Samara.

So, I don't care that its about a Red Head, I was just happy to see more of the game.

It's all personal preference.

I honestly think Hale is better than Meer in most respects. For some weird reason I can't relate to Male Shepard even though I'm a man.

I find some of Meer's deliver of lines incredibly annoying like the dialogue leading up to the sex scene with Liara in Mass Effect 1 where he sounds like a desperate, dirty old man begging for sex, and their reunion scene in Lair of the Shadow Broker where they sounded like they were talking on the phone.

Where Hale made the dialogue in the first game caring, sensual, funny, and she like she was curious about it, and in Lair of the Shadow Broker she made it funny, sexy, and caring. It also sounded like they were in the same room.

IMHO Hale and Ali Hillis (the voice actor for Liara) have a great natural chemistry. While  Meer and Hillis don't have that chemistry. I will say that IMHO Meer has better chemistry with the voice actor for Ash, than Hale does. I can see Male Shepard and Ash as lovers (or even married) not so much with Hale. I think that they would be friends but nothing more.

Plus IMHO Hale can deliver lines in such a way that become funny and memorable like the line from ME1 "We gonna need bigger guns." when she says that makes it a bad *** line, where Meer's deliver falls flat.

I have a very monotone voice unless I intentionally have an emotional surge or change in mood.  I relate better to Meer.  Personally outside of relatng, I don't immerse myself fully into Role Playing.

Also, I hated Hales voice in ME 1.  ME 2 sorta removed it, but I'd rather here Mark.  At this point I skip most lines in ME 1, the game's history stagnated when I bled it.  Also I skip the romance conversations and moments, they look horribly done and I've only been doing it to set up ME 3.

That's not recessiveness works.

I don't think it matters. Hair dye works will exist, I'm sure.

Cant comment really on the video/demo until its in my hands. But if they kept the majority of the core stuff in from ME2 im sure it will be good.

I really need to explain why femshep is a minority ? Come on now. Watching Femshep do anything made me think the game wasnt even Mass Effect and ruined the excitement for me with this trailer. It was like watching a parody version of the real game with this doll'd up girl running around and trying to sound tough or strong.

Each to there own though but as this trailer was the latest look on the game we are all waiting for I was kinda pushed to view it if this wasnt the case than i wouldnt of even commented on it.

Bring on the demo!! :)

BTW.

I like to think the vast majority of people who even voted for this "look" was mainly people who didnt really care and who wont even use it for there main expierence on this game. That is why this character saddened a few "Femshep lovers"

Theres a reason why femshep was even up to a vote and the male version wasnt ;) can u guess why ? lol

Jeebus. I remember when Bioware refused to post anything relating to femShep. It was because they were afraid that people would get confused. Now they cave to the fans, and no one is confused. It is an option in-game. You want to be female? Great. Just don't tell anyone. It might bring mass hytseria. Get a grip, I think it is a great option, and I can't believe it took so long. WTF what are the haters going on about?

^i think there upset that the energy spent on creating the minority female shepard couldve been spent on expanding the game even more.

Yes, It is a great option, and I also don't know why it took so long.   They should have been shouting on the rooftops that the game had options.  Lots of options, class, background, looks, sex, armor, weapons, Options are a good thing.

You said vast majority earlier - 18% is not a tiny minority, but a significant one, and 72% is not vast.

Tis about time there was a trailer that at least sounded like my Shepard, even if it looked nothing like her.

So you can take your male priviledge and eat it, sir! (btw, male myself)
We've had 4 years of Sheploo trailers and I've never complained about it - yet a long comes a single Femshep one and guys have to steam in and whine about it. I think Tazz was actually right...

Yes, because the team that makes the trailers was also working on expanding the game and not... y'know... making trailers.

I adore it! I'm glad that Femshep finally gets the trailer everyone has been waiting for. I voted for another look, but I love the style despite the fact they prettied her up alittle too much, imo. XD But it was an epic trailer and epic music.

Though, I wished they picked better lines. XD

Right, so I don't have the time to cycle through 50+ pages to see if someone's asked this or pointed it out; in one of the screen-caps (the one with the Council) does anyone notice that she's wearing the everyday outfit we start out with? And that she's saying things similar to what she said to the Defense Committee? I'm just wondering if the whole uniform was a placeholder for her armor, or does anyone else think we're finally going to be on the Citadel WITHOUT armor for at least the meeting with the Council?
