Okay if I choose steam I play on Nov 3rd,
if I choose D2D I don't.
Both promise the same thing,
Steam offers cheaper price.
That is why I am upset. Not because I am an insane drug addict who
does bad things to the eldetly, but because I was offered the same thing by
two companies and one cannot get their act together.
Somehow this makes me a nutcase and people say I will sue D2D because
I want a refund for lying.
Please, explain to me why this doesn't make sense to you.
Is it my fault I don't get 50 Mbps here? My fault I've waited
5+years for said game? My fault that I chose D2D?
If I am at fault, I do not fear admitting it.
Okay, explanation and Q/A

Perhaps you're misunderstanding the critique you've been receiving. I'm not saying you're at fault for choosing D2D. Sure, i'm a bit irked that the preloading for the DDE hasn't started yet, but they're getting their **** together, and the UK is currently downloading it, as well as US customers are downloading the standard version, and I'm sure the US DDE isn't too far off now. We were criticizing you for being so overzealous in your reaction to missing out on a few hours of pre-load time. Believe me, I understand what it's like to have bad internet. When the downloading begins, I won't even be receiving more than 170kb/s, that's just the sad reality that is my internets lol. Probably even less considering the load the servers will be receiving. Now if it was 4 hours before the release and we still weren't preloading, I could definitely understand your plight, but considering we still well more than 24 hours left to download, you're just plainly overreacting.

I think you should make some more threads about this.

Don't worry, I read the "sucker" drawn in highlighter on my forehead. After this absurdity you won't hear from me again. As much fun as I had with KOTOR and Xan, I see Bioware forums are filled with shills and "who cares that you paid" sympathisers.
Ok, loud and clear. The PC game world is full of BS.
Okay.

Last I checked, Steam priced the game at the same price. Now, I am not sure how that 50 Mbps translates to your download speed, but unless it takes you 4 or 5 hours to download a gig, there is really is no need to so upset. Besides, the downloads are up and running now.

You should have chosen Steam. I know this doesn't help at this point, but Steam was downloading at mega speed this morning. I got it in under 1 hour.
Steam is run by Valve through a client, D2D is some clunky mirror download of the setup file. Steam just makes more sense until D2D has the brains to create a client.

Man, what is with the sense of entitlement?
If your internet connection sucks that much, maybe you should consider buying retail instead of freaking out because D2D offered pre-loading a few hours later than you'd like.

This truly is a tragedy of nigh unimaginable magnitude, in fact I think this is the first great atrocity of the 21st century, movies about it will be made decades from now in an unsuccessful effort to cope with this, elderly women will write books about how they experienced a childhood during the great D2D disaster of 2009-2020. I think you are perfectly in your rights to fill this forum with your harrowing tale over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again and calling everyone a shill who doesn't join in your whining, in fact I believe you are underreacting, you should get a few newspapers to tell your tale, start a blog, write to congress, use twitter to give us updates every 5 minutes.
But please, please, don't even think about taking your complaints to D2D, everywhere else is the correct place.
Yes, we do care, a lot.
